The Tim Easterby trained VINCE LE PRINCE (best priced at 9/2) is a three-time course and distance winner and can bounce back from a disappointing effort at Thirsk last time. The six-year-old has won off marks of 65, 66, 66 and 73 in his career including on good to firm ground in August 2024 by 3 ½ lengths.
Vince Le Prince has now dropped down to a career low mark of 64 despite running well on all three occasions at this track this season. He looks the one to beat in this competitive contest.

TIP 2: KERNIE D’AIRY - 1pt

This looks a competitive 0-110 handicap hurdle but preference goes to KERNIE D’AIRY (best priced
at 9/2) who won a maiden hurdle over this course and distance last time. The Jamie Snowden trained mare was pitched into a listed bumper on her debut at Newbury behind Sober Glory before finishing 2 nd on her hurdling debut at Hereford in March.
Kernie D’Airy got off the mark last time when fitted with a first-time tongue tie and the handicapper has been generous in giving her an opening mark of only 103. She looks overpriced in comparison with Media Mogul who has the same profile.

TIP 3: L’EAGLE AID - 1pt

L’EAGLE AID (best priced at 6/4) has run well at Chester on his previous two starts despite not getting the clearest of runs on either occasion. The Charlie Johnston trained five-year-old won twice last season including off this mark of 75 and he won his only start at this track in a novice race by six lengths in 2024.
This small field will mean L’Eagle Aid isn’t caught too far back and he can win this under Jason Hart.
