MICK THE HAT now gets first-time blinkers in the hope that will eke out the required improvement for a breakthrough success. He struggled over this trip at Wolverhampton latest but is worth one more chance given his latest effort on turf at Ffos Las wasn't devoid of promise. He's not going to get many better opportunities and gets the nod ahead of Panthere Noir and Alex The Great.
Prediction : 1st Mick The Hat 2nd Panthere Noir 3rd Alex The Great

HOMELAND was steered to a fairly comfortable success at Ffos Las by Rossa Ryan when clearly appreciating the step back up in trip. Jack Callan takes over in the plate and negates the 3lb rise for that victory, so everything points to another bold showing. Haveagobeau has won a couple of times here on the all-weather track this year and commands respect, as does Celtic Spirit.
Prediction : 1st Homeland 2nd Haveagobeau 3rd Celtic Spirit

SUMMER TRIANGLE improved markedly from her first to second run when finishing runner-up at Epsom recently and, if she can settle a bit better dropping to 6f, this could be the time to catch her at the third attempt. Rocsane is improving between runs and looks sure to be bang there at the business end, while many will keep the faith with Last Dandelion following a creditable Bath performance.
Prediction : 1st Summer Triangle 2nd Rocsane 3rd Last Dandelion

American Psycho showed promise when second at Salisbury before flopping at Wolverhampton, but he could be a different proposition now he has been gelded. It Dunt Marra was also second on debut before his respectable sixth in Listed class at Sandown and he may prove the biggest danger to newcomer CATCHING DREAMS. A son of Showcasing and in the care of Charlie Appleby, his breeding certainly suggests speed and if he is fully tuned up Connor Planas has every chance of being on the winner here.
Prediction : 1st Catching Dreams 2nd It Dunt Marra 3rd American Psycho

RUMBLE RUBY makes her handicap debut off a mark of 70 after winning over course and distance by an easy two lengths on only her third start in June. She looks likely to progress further with experience and is being kept to a sensible level for now. Pilgrim's Progress returned with an acceptable second here on the all-weather and could fill the same place for the third time in a row, while Be An Angel and Spacewoman could do battle for the minor placing.
Prediction : 1st Rumble Ruby 2nd Pilgrims Progress 3rd Be An Angel

DEBRIEF broke his maiden in cosy fashion at Brighton and is now sent handicapping from what is potentially a workable mark. Harry Eustace's colt is the real unknown quantity in this field and might have too much for the likes of recent Yarmouth scorer Adalida. Goldwork failed to back up a promising Newmarket effort at Epsom, but a first-time tongue-tie might elicit some improvement.
Prediction : 1st Debrief 2nd Adalida 3rd Goldwork

MIRACLEOFTHEANDES showed much more when dropped to the minimum trip at Nottingham and is fancied to prove better than her opening mark of 65 would suggest. The Thames Boatman was no match for an easy winner at Salisbury but is well worth considering now eased in class, and don't rule out Diomed Duke or Sandscreendeliverd, who both have C&D wins to their name.
Prediction : 1st Miracleoftheandes 2nd The Thames Boatman 3rd Diomed Duke
