From a handy berth, Dark Moon Rising looks to hold solid claims. Having struck over C&D in July, he was a creditable sixth in a heritage handicap over track and trip on Ebor day. David O'Meara's charge sliced his way through the field to by just under two lengths at Redcar on his most recent start and a 5lb rise might prove to be lenient. Alpha Capture and Dwindling Funds are others to keep an eye on.
