HAVANA HALO produced a better effort when filling the runner-up spot over track and trip last month and competes off an unchanged mark. With Ben Ffrench Davis claiming a handy 3lb, she looks the one to be on. Yes Waliim struck at Lingfield prior to finishing second over C&D on his most recent outing and is bound to have a say again. Lahina Bay is next best.
Prediction : 1st Havana Halo 2nd Yes Waliim 3rd Lahina Bay

Romotoso took a step forward from her debut third at Doncaster to take the silver medal home at Lingfield and she has to be taken seriously. However, POLYXENA sprung a 40/1 surprise when making a winning debut over track and trip in July and would have learned lots from that experience. With any amount of improvement to come, she can defy her penalty. Thai Baht is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Polyxena 2nd Romotoso 3rd Thai Baht

COURAGE BEST hasn't shown a great deal in her four starts so far, but she has been sent off at big odds for all of them and could prove a different proposition on her nursery debut. The booking of Oisin Murphy is noteworthy and she is worth chancing. Her stablemate Devon Angel only found one too good over 5f at Chepstow recently and might prove the main danger ahead of Alpha Legend, who needs to be monitored in the market.
Prediction : 1st Courage Best 2nd Devon Angel 3rd Alpha Legend

The hat-trick seeking ECCLEFECHAN is at the top of his game and looks more than ready for another crack at this level. A winner over C&D before comfortably backing it up in an apprentice race at Yarmouth, the son of Bated Breath is in the minority of those on the upgrade. Given the fact he is 2lb lower due to him running under a 6lb penalty last Sunday, it's all systems go for the three-timer bid. Get Outta Here, Mystic Moment and Burdett Estate head the list of threats in a race where several have been underwhelming lately.
Prediction : 1st Ecclefechan 2nd Get Outta Here 3rd Mystic Moment

RAAHEEB didn't appear to see out the trip when pitched into the Irish Derby and cutting him back a couple of furlongs appears the logical move. The son of Sea The Stars previously progressed from winning a maiden at Ascot to blitzing the field in the Sandown Classic Trial in April. Admittedly, that form has taken a few knocks, but he was well on top that day and he has untapped potential over this trip. The Italian Derby winner Venetian Prince is surely better than he managed at Royal Ascot last time and could bounce back over this distance. Maho Bay is another potential improver after an unlucky fifth in the Hampton Court.
Prediction : 1st Raaheeb 2nd Venetian Prince 3rd Maho Bay

Yamnah has a stellar pedigree and is one to keep an eye on in the betting market. However, her stable companion WITHOUT PREJUDICE was a ready winner on her debut at Newmarket in July and sets the standard here. A repeat of that performance could suffice. Saaffya is another notable debutant to bear in mind, while Aura Champagne and Astrid are others with each-way credentials.
Prediction : 1st Without Prejudice 2nd Yamnah 3rd Saaffya

MY MATE MACKLEY has held his form well and could be up to the task of giving weight away all round in this company. Cases can also be stated for several others, with the likes of Roman Spring, Call Time and Washington Heir all noted as capable players at this level. However, the well-handicapped Cabeza De Llave might prove to be the biggest danger if he makes the most of being 11lb below his last winning mark.
Prediction : 1st My Mate Mackley 2nd Cabeza De Llave 3rd Roman Spring
