GIVE HAND outran odds of 40/1 when third on his introduction at Kempton and would have learned a great deal from that experience. With normal improvement, he will prove hard to beat. Desert Symphony was only beaten a length into second over track and trip on her most recent start and is likely to be thereabouts again. Any market confidence behind newcomer Quite Cheeky would be interesting.Prediction : 1st Give Hand 2nd Desert Symphony 3rd Quite Cheeky

Uppercase failed to complete the hat-trick when finishing stone last over 6f at Pontefract, but there will be many who keep the faith. Even so, DAPPER GUEST looks the way to go. George Margarson's charge returned to winning ways over C&D on his latest outing and looks well placed to complete a double. Of the remainder, Lingfield second Daring Legend makes the most appeal.Prediction : 1st Dapper Guest 2nd Uppercase 3rd Daring Legend

Beach Point got back to winning ways at Goodwood and with the William Knight yard in such fine form, he is one to take seriously. However, CARNIVAL DAY finished a creditable third in a warmer event at Sandown and has kindly been dropped 1lb. He is now operating below his last winning mark and will prove hard to beat. Moonrunner completes the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Carnival Day 2nd Beach Point 3rd Moonrunner
15:42 Epsom Downs
The Gary & Josh Moore team have won this for the past two years, but Toby Moore will do well to keep it in the family on the Jamie Osborne-trained Epictetus. Of much more interest is CROOKED PATH, who found just one too strong in the Amateurs' Derby here last week and is taken to go one better off the same mark. Charmaine accounted for a subsequent facile winner at Chester and looks the chief threat.Prediction : 1st Crooked Path 2nd Charmaine 3rd Epictetus

Time To Sparkle was rewarded for some honourable efforts in defeat with a Lingfield victory, but she has never tried this trip and proven stamina sways the vote in favour of CARAWAY. William Haggas' filly has been costly to follow this campaign, although she did taste success at Thirsk and has lost little in defeat in three appearances since. Shirakawa hasn't really shaped like 1m4f will suit, but her consistency earns her respect. A Daughters Love and Fletcher are a couple more to consider.Prediction : 1st Caraway 2nd Time To Sparkle 3rd Shirakawa

MY OLD MATE won twice at Windsor during the summer before being turned over at Lingfield, when carrying a 6lb penalty, and Windsor. That being said, the Moores' gelding has still been holding his form off higher ratings and may well have more to give. Royal Bodyguard returned to winning ways at Newmarket and has to enter calculations, despite a 4lb rise. Others to note include Eastern Veil and Likeness.Prediction : 1st My Old Mate 2nd Royal Bodyguard 3rd Eastern Veil

Tronido took this prize 12 months ago and appreciated slower ground conditions when scoring over C&D last week. However, the potential for a sounder surface and a 5lb swing with OJ LIFESTYLE, who finished third, gives the six-year-old every chance of reversing the form. Toby Moore's 7lb claim is another positive and he could gain a sixth career success. Play Me completes the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Oj Lifestyle 2nd Tronido 3rd Play Me
