BLUE ANTHEM can strike down in this grade. The Starspangledbanner gelding was strongly supported at Brighton last time and was far from disgraced in third that day. He has the pace required for this sprint trip and could prove a tough nut to crack. Ado McGuinness saddles three, including the two highest rated performers in Land Of The Giants and She's Ideal. The former won over a mile at Navan eight days ago and is marginally preferred because she is likely to appreciate this drop in distance.
Prediction : 1st Blue Anthem 2nd Shes Ideal 3rd Land Of The Giants

The veteran COLLECTIVE POWER catches the eye here running off his lower turf rating. The eight-year-old didn't make much impression after missing the kick at Dundalk last time, but his creditable efforts earlier in the summer would give him every chance. If bouncing back to that sort of form, he could prove hard to beat. Initial Blue struck at Kempton in early July and has to be of interest on his first appearance for the Jack Davison stable. The booking of Harry Swan enhances his appeal further, while Galway winner Faoladh is another that has to enter calculations.
Prediction : 1st Collective Power 2nd Initial Blue 3rd Faoladh

A return to the winner's enclosure might not be all that far away for GLYNDWR. He may have finished a couple of lengths closer at the Galway Festival if getting a clearer run before the straight, with that good effort coming on the back of two promising starts at Leopardstown. En Or makes a quick reappearance after finishing second to a cosy winner over hurdles at Galway on Monday and he's not easily ruled out. Indigo Dream might have more going for her, though, after an improved run over this distance at Gowran Park last time.
Prediction : 1st Glyndwr 2nd Indigo Dream 3rd En Or
