The David Evans trained EAGLE DAY (best priced at 17/2) has shown his best form at Wolverhampton in his career and he is now looking dangerously handicapped off a mark of 63. The six-year-old is a five-time course winner as well as six placed efforts so he will be much better suited by this return to the AW rather than at Chester and Bath on his previous two runs.

Eagle Day was only beaten 1 ¾ lengths when 4 th here in July off a mark of 66 so he looks well handicapped off a 3lb lower mark only three runs later. He is well drawn in Stall 1 and could run well in first-time blinkers with Finley Marsh on board.

TIP 2: LITTLE JAYBEE - 1pt

LITTLE JAYBEE (best priced at 5/2) has shown improved form since joining the David Evans yard
recently and she can hopefully record a well deserved success in this race. The three-year-old has
been beaten only ½ length and a neck on her previous two starts at Ffos Las and Lingfield and she
runs here again off the same mark of 58.
The handicapper has raised Little Jaybee up to a mark of 60 this morning so she runs here from 2lbs
“well in” at the weights in this race. She is well drawn to get a good early position from Stall 2 and
looks the one to beat.
