CONTROLLA makes her first appearance in maiden company, having been campaigned in stakes races on all four starts to date. The Night Of Thunder filly was edged out by just a neck in a Group 3 on her debut and has faced stiff tasks since. With a mark of 96 she sets a high standard now. Benown ran a nice race on debut when chasing home Shakespeare here last month. That form was boosted when the third horse, stablemate Loughrea N Roll, won at Listowel on Tuesday and he looks like the obvious danger. Jungle Wise was also runner-up on his debut behind easy winner Marco Polo at Cork and is another for the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Controlla 2nd Benown 3rd Jungle Wise

LEWIS CARROLL can follow up on his maiden win over course and distance in late March. He was value for a bit more than his winning margin on that occasion and the son of Siyouni appears likely to have plenty more to offer. Killashee Warrior ran a big race when third in a competitive event at the Irish Champions Festival and commands plenty of respect. Navan winner Chapel Lane is another that has to be considered.Prediction : 1st Lewis Carroll 2nd Killashee Warrior 3rd Chapel Lane

CARDIFF BY THE SEA looks on a nice weight here with Julian Pietropaolo taking 7lb off her back. The St Mark's Basilica filly has run with credit in stakes company this year and the handicapper looks to have given her a chance by dropping her from an original rating of 97 down to 83 now. Red Evolution ran a big race when chasing home Coul Angel in the Bold Lad here 13 days ago. Reese Holohan takes 7lb off his back now and he could be a big player. Keke was well beaten in the aforementioned contest but is a dual course and distance winner and has dropped to a competitive mark. He is tried in cheekpieces now. Prediction : 1st Cardiff By The Sea 2nd Red Evolution 3rd Keke

NOBLE EXHIBIT was very impressive when taking his maiden at Punchestown 11 days ago and can step up in stakes company now. It looked like a competitive enough race then but he pulled away in some style to score by seven lengths. The form of his debut third behind Monogram has worked out well and he could be very smart. Stablemate Shakespeare won his maiden here last month but was well held in Group 1 company at Leopardstown a fortnight ago. He could be a danger dropping in grade. City Of Dubai wasn't disgraced when fifth in the Futurity Stakes but probably needs to step up on that effort now. His yard has been in better form recently.Prediction : 1st Noble Exhibit 2nd Shakespeare 3rd City of Dubai

RAHMI has been running in some very hot handicaps and may appreciate a slightly easier task now. The Pivotal gelding has dropped 10lb since running well to finish second in a conditions race at Gowran Park last month and looks on a nice mark now. Leopardstown maiden winner Uncle Goalie is open to further improvement and looks on a fair mark off 79 for his handicap debut. He does face more battled hardened performers now though. City House ran well when chasing home easy winner Greydreambeliever at Gowran a week ago and is another to consider. Prediction : 1st Rahmi 2nd Uncle Goalie 3rd City House

TREAN ran well for a long way in Group 1 company last time and can land this big pot. The Bayside Boy colt was an impressive Galway maiden winner before hitting the frame in the Acomb at York. He then travelled strongly over C&D in the National Stakes before giving way in the closing stages, so looks certain to go close here. Carry The Flag is the highest rated of these with a mark of 110, but going up to 7f is a question mark. Green Dreamer drops in trip after finishing a well-held fifth in the Group 1 Golden Fleece Stakes. He had been a fine third in the Futurity Stakes here previously though and commands respect. Prediction : 1st Trean 2nd Carry The Flag 3rd Green Dreamer
16:55 Curragh
ALMAZANN may be worth another shot here despite a disappointing effort at Roscommon last time. He was beaten at a short price then and was reported to have hung in the home straight. The Zarak colt had finished runner-up on his previous three outings, though, and the application of first-time cheekpieces may elicit the required improvement. Leopold The First has taken the silver medal home on five occasions and looks the obvious danger. Money for the Ballydoyle newcomer Come What May, a full-brother to the ill-fated Derby winner Desert Crown, would be noteworthy. Prediction : 1st Almazann 2nd Leopold The First 3rd Come What May

The regally-bred TOGETHER NOW has been off the track for almost a year but may be able to make a winning return. The full-sister to City Of Troy made a very promising debut here last October when chasing home stablemate Cameo. That filly won the Lingfield Oaks Trial earlier this season, while back in fourth that day was subsequent Oaks heroine Thundering On. There are plenty in this with solid placed form, including stable companion Camelot Queen. She hasn't been beaten far the last twice and it's interesting that Wayne Lordan keeps the partnership intact. Sangreal has hit the frame on each of her three racecourse appearances and could be on the premises again.Prediction : 1st Together Now 2nd Camelot Queen 3rd Sangreal
