Sonas got closest to a runaway winner at Wexford and even though she was beaten a long way, the performance still represented a step forward from her debut at the same venue. She will need to make similar progress to get off the mark in this contest and while that isn't out of the question, TELEGRAM SAM's Kilbeggan third is stronger form and Adrian Murray's gelding gets the nod. Direct Approach doesn't appear to be as good in this discipline as he is on the level, but his third at Kilbeggan back in July earns him a place on the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Telegram Sam 2nd Sonas 3rd Direct Approach
14:10 Roscommon
COOL SUMMER is developing nicely and built on seconds here and at Ballinrobe when getting off the mark at Wexford. The handicapper has responded with a 6lb rise, which doesn't seem too harsh given there was a subsequent winner back in fifth and she has scope for further progression. Colesberg left his maiden hurdle form well behind when making the frame on his handicap debut at Tramore and should be winning sooner rather than later. Eyetrap steps out of maiden company now and does so on the back of a break, while Dalmatic also reappears and wants further.Prediction : 1st Cool Summer 2nd Colesberg 3rd Eyetrap

Culldoo has twice placed in bumpers but Paul Townend partners her stable companion Kimi De Mai, who has experience on her side. She does have a costly Kilbeggan second to atone for and perhaps it's worth taking a chance on the potential of WICKED PLEASURE. Henry de Bromhead's mare was third in a Gowran event claimed by subsequent Grade 2 winner Nan's Choice when last seen and is expected to do better now faced with obstacles. That comment also applies to Born Believing, who wasn't disgraced in a Grade 3 at the Punchestown Festival.Prediction : 1st Wicked Pleasure 2nd Kimi De Mai 3rd Born Believing
15:20 Roscommon
Duce Bigalow was given time off after capitalising on a lenient hurdles mark at Down Royal and is likely to be putting in his best work at the finish over this distance. Move It On Over sprung a surprise at Sligo and the runner-up went on to beat Jurality at Navan. Ardgillan also caused something of a turn-up when breaking through at Bellewstown, but BRUISE HILL is preferred. The five-year-old improved for the application of a tongue-tie when having his sights lowered, finding just one too good at Wexford, and only a little bit more is needed for him to go one better.Prediction : 1st Bruise Hill 2nd Move It On Over 3rd Ardgillan
15:55 Roscommon
WATCHING THE CLOCK bounced back to form when runner-up at Wexford in May and is unexposed as a stayer. Padraig Roche's mare returns from a break and is expected to prove too strong for the opposition. Paradise Lost was running well over timber in the spring and is an interesting contender up in trip, while Ilbdare (third) and Adaliz (fourth) were closely matched at Kilbeggan earlier in the month and are likely to be in the mix.Prediction : 1st Watching The Clock 2nd Paradise Lost 3rd Ilbdare
16:30 Roscommon
This is an excellent opportunity for DADDY LONG LEGS to make it two out of two over fences. The seven-year-old was by far the best of these over hurdles and ran out a comfortable winner at Killarney on his chasing bow. He wouldn't need to improve on that display to stamp his authority on this Grade 3. Wild Bill Hickok got the better of the useful Workahead here in June, but needs to bounce back after a very disappointing effort at Galway. With that in mind, the improving Femme Magnifique could be the one for forecast purposes.Prediction : 1st Daddy Long Legs 2nd Femme Magnifique 3rd Wild Bill Hickok
17:05 Roscommon
CHOSEN SHANT makes plenty of appeal switching back to the larger obstacles. Aengus King's mare travelled particularly well when scoring at Wexford in August off a 7lb lower mark and wasn't disgraced at Listowel just over a week ago. Jolie Jewel has shown good promise over fences so far and has to enter the reckoning on her handicap debut in this sphere, while Ladies Well appeals most of the remainder.Prediction : 1st Chosen Shant 2nd Jolie Jewel 3rd Ladies Well
17:40 Roscommon
DR BONES boasts a useful pedigree and gets the vote for the Willie/Patrick Mullins combination. The four-year-old is related to a couple of bumper winners, which suggests she could be precocious enough to make a successful racecourse debut. Finest Band has been given plenty of time after being purchased for 50,000 euros in June 2024 and commands respect. The Last Line also has to be of interest, despite returning from over two years off, given his form against subsequent Listed winner Windbeneathmywings at Cork.Prediction : 1st Dr Bones 2nd Finest Band 3rd The Last Line
