Bold Commander sets the standard, although not too high in this modest autumn maiden. The son of No Nay Never has had five starts, with his best run coming when he was runner-up in a Bellewstown maiden. He has been disappointing since and blinkers are now used for a positive impact. However, a chance is taken on the newcomer SONNY HAYES, even though he was a non runner due to the softer conditions at the Curragh on Saturday. His stablemate won that race, and this Blue Point colt has an appealing profile. The other Ballydoyle contender, Anthony Of Lisbon, was off the bridle some way out on debut, but he should improve for that experience under 10lb claimer Freya Frain.Prediction : 1st Sonny Hayes 2nd Bold Commander 3rd Anthony Of Lisbon

Pink Venom stepped forward to make a winning nursery debut at Fairyhouse but although a 9lb rise isn't a massive concern at this stage in her career, pedigree would suggest softening ground conditions might not bring out the best in her. That shouldn't be an issue for BEST LOVE, being by Kodi Bear, and she produced a battling display to make the breakthrough at Navan. This extra furlong will suit and further success could be on the cards. The blinkered Howlin Wolf heads the remainder.Prediction : 1st Best Love 2nd Pink Venom 3rd Howlin Wolf

Forza Magico broke her duck in a Down Royal maiden earlier this month and looks capable of better, especially over this extra furlong, but the vote goes to BY THE LAKE. Having won twice last season when trained by Ger Lyons, she rounded out her campaign with a tilt at Listed honours. The daughter of Starspangledbanner then moved to Derek McCormack and went desperately close on her return to action at Navan. Improvement looks likely and she can go one place better. Motta Alta is also noted.Prediction : 1st By The Lake 2nd Forza Magico 3rd Motta Alta

EL FONTENARO built on a couple of near-misses to finally get on the scoresheet over C&D in July. Given time to get over that and off just a 4lb higher mark, Jarlath Fahey's filly can double her tally. Brains has shown with thirds at Listowel and Laytown that he retains plenty of enthusiasm and he still has a win or two in him. Simmering Seas has a tongue-tie combined with cheekpieces for the first time and that doesn't need to prompt too much improvement in her following some pleasing efforts.Prediction : 1st El Fontenaro 2nd Simmering Seas 3rd Brains

SUMMER IS TOMORROW recorded a third career win when readily landing the odds at Gowran before a cracking fourth when prominent throughout in a valuable 1m2f Curragh handicap. The Joseph O'Brien-trained colt had Manton Bay, who didn't enjoy the clearest of passages but reopposes on 5lb worse terms, a length and a half behind in fifth. Action would be difficult to beat if reproducing his second to Item in the Dante at York back in the spring, but has been acting as a pacemaker when soundly beaten since. Caught U Sleeping, Latin America and Shaihaan are others to consider.Prediction : 1st Summer Is Tomorrow 2nd Manton Bay 3rd Action

GOLDEN RING took a nice step forward from her debut when placed over 7f here earlier this month, with Torvella over three lengths behind in fifth. The form of that race received a boost when the selection's stablemate Haven scored at Dundalk last Friday. The market should provide some vital clues as to the relative merits of a host of well-bred newcomers, including another trio from Ballydoyle, of which Somebody Loves Me may prove the pick. Duchessofaquitaine cost 425,000gns as a yearling and is a full-sister to The Lion In Winter, while Gods Love cost 525,000gns last year.Prediction : 1st Golden Ring 2nd Duchessofaquitaine 3rd Gods Love

PLAYIN COOL appears best on a soft surface having won a Leopardstown maiden last back end and he was narrowly denied at the same venue in June. He shaped well last time when staying on into fifth behind Loughrea in the Irish Cambridgeshire and Pierre Royal (third) gave that form a timely boost on Saturday. Daler has proved a model of consistency this year, including when winning on soft ground at Leopardstown, while Karrygrant tackles handicap company for the first time following a list of placed efforts in maidens.Prediction : 1st Playin Cool 2nd Daler 3rd Karrygrant

CAUSE I LIKE YOU won over a similar trip at Killarney in July and has strong claims having filled the runner-up spot twice since with cut in the ground. The daughter of Dandy Man beat all bar the progressive Chipsrdown at Gowran earlier this month and Billy Lee again takes the mount. Concaire hails from a yard that sent out a double at Dundalk last Friday and the Ghaiyyath gelding rates a threat along with top-weight Medieval Night. Monocle Rocket showed promise on soft ground earlier this year while Cisterna, runner-up over 7f here on his penultimate start, is another to consider.Prediction : 1st Cause I Like You 2nd Concaire 3rd Monocle Rocket
