This looks like a nice opportunity for the well-bred WHITE SAND BEACH to gain important winning brackets. The Dubawi filly is out of three-time Group 1 winner Alice Springs and is a sister to the Group 3 placed Prettiest. She has been placed six times in ten outings and can make the breakthrough now. Tax Me Later was runner-up in a claimer at Gowran last time and is entitled to play a big part for new connections, while Xirivella has a few pounds to find on ratings but also has to come into calculations.

The consistent NEPHIN MOUNTAIN may be able to bag another victory. He was a winner at Navan in August and has run well on two outings since. The latest came at Punchestown, when a solid fourth to Believe Believe, and off the same mark he should run a big race again. Big Bill ran well over further at Down Royal when weakening slightly in the closing stages. He may benefit from this drop in trip and could be the danger, while Matties Point is one to note on his handicap debut with Billy Lee on board.

SAVE THE SIXES looks on a nice mark for her handicap debut and Billy Lee is a noteworthy booking. The Space Blues filly took a big step forward from her first outing when scoring at Roscommon in August and there should be more to come from her. Lady In Gold has a similar profile, having improved to win at Dundalk on her second start, although that victory came back in February. Star Strewn and Aquilla Star also won last time out with the latter preferred on the likely soft ground.

STEEL MAGNOLIA won on her penultimate start at Naas and followed that up with a solid placed effort off this mark at Navan. She looks the one to be on especially if she can be ridden just a fraction nearer to the early pace. Ballysax Lil' Mick was less than a length behind her at Navan and is 1lb better off. He's another to consider alongside top-weight Dandy Land, eighth that day, but ahead of the selection when winning at Naas in early August and well worth another chance.

MAGNUM COR looks to have the potential to make into a nice horse and this is a lovely stepping stone for him. The Sea The Stars colt, a half-brother to Irish St Leger winner Sonnyboyliston, was an eye-catcher on debut and duly obliged in a Roscommon maiden last time. There should be plenty more to come. Abbotsford was an impressive Galway maiden winner but disappointed up in grade at Leopardstown subsequently. He could play a bigger role now on this softer ground. Count Bezukhov is progressive and won a competitive handicap at Listowel and he is another for the shortlist.

SEARCOG has been knocking on the door and may be able to score again back on the Flat. The Inns Of Court filly has dropped 3lb since her last outing on the level and has in-form apprentice Reese Holohan taking a valuable 5lb off her back now. Maxwell Smart hasn't been too far away in recent runs and is another to consider in a low grade affair, while Lily Parr faces an easier assignment after showing a bit more at Punchestown last time.

ACANTO ran well on her handicap debut when third at Down Royal and may be able to strike now. That form got a boost the other day when the runner-up, Connecteo, scored back at the northern venue on Monday. Albatala was an easy winner at Down Royal back in June before a solid effort over hurdles the following month. She got a 15lb hike for her Flat win but is respected with Sam Coen taking 5lb off now. Grey Fable ran well on a couple of visits to England during the summer and is another to consider.
