IVATT showed promise when placed on the Flat for Charlie Fellowes and has been switched to hurdles in recent months by current connections. The selection only weakened in the closing stages behind Dallas Star at Navan last time and is now fitted with a hood. Michonne was quite highly tried over hurdles last season, including when second in a Naas Listed race, but she needs to bounce back after a disappointing reappearance on the Flat at Clonmel. Bunker Buster placed on both bumper starts earlier this year, including at the Punchestown Festival, and is an interesting recruit to hurdles.Prediction : 1st Ivatt 2nd Michonne 3rd Bunker Buster

MIDFIELD MAGIC has switched to Gavin Cromwell's yard since making a promising start in a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle last spring. The son of Poet's Word kept on into fourth behind favourite Colcannon in that 25-runner event and may have been found a good opportunity to open his account. The Henry de Bromhead-trained The Captain's Word has been placed in both a point-to-point and a bumper and riding arrangements suggest he's preferred to stablemate Lirakali, who filled the runner-up spot on debut in a Clonmel bumper. Cosmic Front and Ballito Beauty are others to consider.Prediction : 1st Midfield Magic 2nd The Captains Word 3rd Cosmic Front

ROYAL HOLLOW can land this event for the second successive year. The Andy Slattery-trained mare has proved a grand servant to connections, winning on the Flat as well as over hurdles and fences, and the recent rain won't have done her prospects any harm. Daboya beat Speisialta by nearly two lengths at Bellewstown but the latter may reverse the placings on these revised terms, with Darragh O'Keeffe a significant booking. Gino Bella has progressed well this summer, winning twice at Cork, while any further rain will help the cause of mudlark Sopelana.Prediction : 1st Royal Hollow 2nd Speisialta 3rd Gino Bella

MOSSY WAY impressed when making all to land a Limerick bumper by 27 lengths on testing ground for Pat Doyle last November and gained experience over hurdles for current connections earlier this year, including when third behind Colcannon in a 25-runner Fairyhouse maiden. Gillane won a Bellewstown bumper in April and now reverts to hurdles with claims along with Euro Agent and Fortis Et Liber, who both filled the runner-up spot twice in Downpatrick maiden hurdles this summer. It will be interesting to see if the market speaks in favour of the Cian Collins-trained pair Techno Kid and Churchroad Harry, while Hurricane Leaf is another to note.Prediction : 1st Mossy Way 2nd Gillane 3rd Euro Agent

LARKINS LANE won twice over similar trips earlier this season, including on soft ground at Limerick, and again advertised her claims when finishing well over 2m3f at Kilbeggan last time. Esticky End is on a hat-trick after scoring twice off lowly marks at Wexford this summer, while Mother Ship, At The Wings and Getaway Charlie also come here off the back of wins. The latter carries a 7lb penalty after benefiting from a patient ride to score in decisive fashion at Roscommon on Monday. Laska Du Breuil handled soft ground when scoring over 2m6f at Limerick this spring but disappointed on his only outing since.Prediction : 1st Larkins Lane 2nd Getaway Charlie 3rd At The Wings

JONNY CARROL posted a better effort under Ella Herbison at Wexford last time and could strike in this similar grade. He kept on well enough at the business end when fourth to Who's Da Goose and remains on the same mark. Aidan Howard has his string in fine form and Lady Felicia could be a contender on her handicap debut. She fared well enough in maiden company at Kilbeggan last time, while Talas Kera ran a solid race when fourth at Tramore and is another to consider.Prediction : 1st Jonny Carrol 2nd Lady Felicia 3rd Talas Kera

IN FOR THE NIGHT won nicely at Kilbeggan on his latest outing and could well follow up. That was only his second outing for Conor O'Dwyer and this extra furlong could help him defy a 9lb hike. Ripsnorter also returned the clear winner when scoring by seven lengths at Downpatrick. He's been raised 10lb for that performance but has to be respected, while Jackmoon was knocking on the door earlier in the year and is another to consider on his return to action. Prediction : 1st In For The Night 2nd Ripsnorter 3rd Jackmoon

Willie Mullins has won two of the previous four renewals and LONG'WAY could prove up to this level. She made a winning debut at Tramore in mid-August and that form looks solid, with the third horse Call My Name winning in good style since. Henry de Bromhead's pair both won nicely first time up and it looks significant that John Gleeson prefers Lola O C to Elegantemente. The former's victory at Roscommon has worked out well, while dual winner Thelittleballerina is another for the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Longway 2nd Lola O C 3rd Thelittleballerina
