STAR GLORY sets a decent standard here off a mark of 85. The Cotai Glory filly ran well to chase home a decent sort in Maeda Matsu at Naas on her last start and a similar effort would make her the one to beat now. Ippy showed significant improvement to finish third at a massive price at Down Royal last time but the ratings suggest she has a bit to find off her mark of 73. The Joseph O'Brien-trained newcomer Ladies Gossip deserves a look in the market after the Calyx filly cost 170,000 Euros at the breeze-ups.
Prediction : 1st Star Glory 2nd Ladies Gossip 3rd Ippy

THUMAMA GLORY looks like he'll appreciate stepping back up to seven furlongs after a good effort to finish second over shorter here three weeks ago. The Cotai Glory gelding got a touch outpaced mid-race then but came to hold every chance a furlong out before finding Value Pending too strong late on. A similar effort should see him go close. He can again hold The Pipeman, who finished fifth that day and hasn't progressed from his debut second. Tio Joao ran well when runner-up in a nursery here last week and also has to be on the shortlist, while newcomers Tajac and Final Ascent, deserve a look in the market.
Prediction : 1st Thumama Glory 2nd Final Ascent 3rd Tio Joao

MICKEY THE STEEL is 10lb higher than when winning here last month but may be able to strike again in a moderate looking affair. The veteran has run well to finish placed back on the turf since and he may prove the safest option here. In A Hurry was third to the selection here three weeks ago and is entitled to get a bit close now at the revised weights. Lahore Da King won twice over course and distance last winter and didn't run too badly on his latest turf outing. He has slipped a bit in the ratings and could play a bigger role now.
Prediction : 1st Mickey The Steel 2nd Lahore Da King 3rd In A Hurry

MEHMAN has won four times over sprint trips here but seven furlongs isn't a problem either and he can strike again at the venue after running well over six here a fortnight ago, when third to the in-form Caffu Zafeen. He had been placed over seven and a mile earlier this year and may even need a bit further at this stage of his career. Boston Max was a length behind the selection last time and could be a danger with Nina Doherty taking 10lb off his back. Send Harry ran well here on his penultimate outing but is 7lb higher now, which doesn't make life any easier.
Prediction : 1st Mehman 2nd Boston Max 3rd Send Harry

Previous course and distance winner DALER could prove the answer to a tricky looking handicap. The consistent Dark Angel gelding ran well at Navan last time when third to stablemate Sonoran who now meets the winner on 5lb better terms. Naoi got a 10lb hike for her win at Fairyhouse last time but Reese Holohan takes half of that off now and she is respected. Exquisite Acclaim has been knocking on the door and is another to consider back here, having won seven times at the venue.
Prediction : 1st Daler 2nd Naoi 3rd Exquisite Acclaim

STORM ERIC finished a decent third over a mile here a fortnight ago and may well appreciate stepping back up in trip. His previous course wins have come over shorter, but he has plenty of placed form over this extended 10-furlong trip and looks capable of adding to his tally. Timandi posted a solid effort to finish third at the Curragh 12 days ago and could go well under top weight, while Aiteall is less exposed and is another to consider after a good effort at Down Royal recently.
Prediction : 1st Storm Eric 2nd Timandi 3rd Aiteall

CAMINO LAD arrives in fine form. The Flintshire gelding won a maiden at Bellewstown on his penultimate start and subsequently ran a big race here when second to the more experienced Quatre Bras on his handicap debut. There looks more to come and Ger Lyons' charge gets the nod. Cooley's Mist has been knocking on the door and looks a danger off his current mark, while Serenity Blue could be nicely treated is another to note on his first start for Ado McGuinness.
Prediction : 1st Camino Lad 2nd Cooleys Mist 3rd Serenity Blue

20:30 Dundalk

TOUCH THE MOON gets the vote in a tricky contest. The Sea The Stars gelding run well for a long way in a valuable handicap at Doncaster last month, having won here previously, and is taken to reverse earlier running at the Curragh with the winner Fixation. The latter has scored again since and wasn't disgraced in a premier handicap last time, while Quatre Bras won here a fortnight ago though faces a tougher task from 2lb out of the handicap.
Prediction : 1st Touch The Moon 2nd Fixation 3rd Quatre Bras
