Ella Beach made her Leicester debut a winning one but has more on her plate now conceding weight to an improving colt in the shape of TROPBIEN. He clearly needed his Newbury debut in the spring and posted two encouraging efforts at Sandown and Windsor in June. Given time to strengthen up since, the John and Thady Gosden inmate is taken to show a lot more here. Indhaar is another to respect.
Prediction : 1st Tropbien 2nd Ella Beach 3rd Indhaar

Amber Hamur has been in good form on the turf this year and it wouldn't be a surprise if she was bang there at the business end reverting to the all-weather, while chances are also given to Sailor's Return and Espanita. However, MARIA DA SILVA gets the nod as she's seemingly still improving and should appreciate switching to a synthetic surface judged on a pair of wins here earlier in the year.
Prediction : 1st Maria Da Silva 2nd Amber Hamur 3rd Sailors Return

GREAT BALLS O'FIRE might prove difficult to beat in this novice heat. Deemed good enough for a Newmarket Group 3 on the Rowley Mile following a ready debut success on the July Course, Richard Spencer's charge should appreciate the drop back to 6f and will find this assignment a lot easier. Moofeed is entitled to improve for a decent run in a Newbury maiden on debut and is noted along with Benbecula.
Prediction : 1st Great Balls OFire 2nd Moofeed 3rd Benbecula

Blazing Inferno showed battling qualities to get up late at Carlisle first time out before struggling in a valuable sales race at Doncaster. However, he could get into the mix at this level and is not one to underestimate. Nevertheless, STARBURSTER showed similar resolution when holding off all challengers to score by a head at Newbury and the Starman filly is fancied to double up. Minzelle has faced deeper tests and is the pick of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Starburster 2nd Blazing Inferno 3rd Minzelle

Mondammej has won five times here with the latest off a mark 12lb higher, but that was in January 2025 and he has not been at that level since. Taygar was only beaten a short-head at Ripon and will have her supporters, but a chance is taken on JUAN LES PINS. Mick Appleby's veteran was left with too much to do when third at Southwell, but is off 1lb lower for his first race in a Class 5 since winning at Thirsk off this mark in April.
Prediction : 1st Juan Les Pins 2nd Taygar 3rd Mondammej

There are plenty of course specialists here, including Yorkshire Glory and Bellagio Man and both could mount challenges on their best form. FIZZY CRISTAL is lightly raced in comparison, but she has won here twice from three starts and can follow up her narrow Wolverhampton success off just 3lb higher. Emperor Caradoc and Supreme Lillia also deserve plenty of respect.
Prediction : 1st Fizzy Cristal 2nd Bellagio Man 3rd Emperor Caradoc

ICE SHOW has got her act together since going handicapping. Third at Redcar on her handicap bow, the daughter of Ulysses opened her account with a cosy victory over 7f here 10 days ago and a 4lb rise may not be enough to anchor David O'Meara's improving filly. Whiskey Pete has slid down the handicap and finally took advantage when scoring over C&D. He remain of interest and is preferred to Turtle Reef and Amarachi of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Ice Show 2nd Whiskey Pete 3rd Turtle Reef

Spartan Fighter does the vast majority of his racing at this venue and has already won five times here this year. He's likely to be thereabouts once again, but a chance is taken on ABDUCTION. Not at his best on testing ground at Ayr last time, Jim Goldie's inmate scored off a 1lb higher mark over C&D in January. Flowstate and Havana Rum are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Abduction 2nd Spartan Fighter 3rd Flowstate

REENIE'S DREAM finally opened her account when successful here last month. Bryan Smart's filly had the previous C&D winner Yaahobby back in third that day and is taken to confirm superiority raised only 2lb. The latter is off an unchanged mark and looks likely to have a say in proceedings once again, while Piperstown boasts a fine strike-rate on the all-weather and is worthy of a second glance on his first start since April.
Prediction : 1st Reenies Dream 2nd Yaahobby 3rd Piperstown
