NOBLE EXHIBIT
An impressive 7 length winner at Punchestown on his second career start, he became Aidan O’Brien’s 23rd winner of the Beresford Stakes last time making all to win by 1 ¼ lengths. He sets the standard with an official rating of 112.
BURNING UP
Karl Burke trained colt who won his first two career starts at Haydock before finishing 2nd behind Haffner in the Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket last time. He appeared unbalanced into the dip on good to firm ground and could improve for the return to a more regulation track.
BREACHER
Highly touted Cracksman colt trained by William Muir & Chris Grassick who has finished 3rd on both of his starts in group level. He was only beaten a length in the Group 3 Solario Stakes at Sandown before finishing 3rd beaten nearly five lengths in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster last time. This step up in trip to a mile should suit.
AL HUDAIBA
Charlie Appleby trained son of Dark Angel who should have won 5 of his 6 career starts. He won the Group 2 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket in July before finishing 3rd beaten only ½ length at Goodwood in the Group 2 Vintage Stakes last time. He won the Grade 1 Summer Stakes at Woodbine on his only start over a mile last time.
GIANT SEQUOIA
Aidan O’Brien trained colt who won the Group 2 Futurity Stakes at the Curragh over 7f before disappointing when only 6th of 8 in the Group 1 National Stakes last time. He should be suited by this step up in trip to a mile but doesn’t appear to be the stable number 1.
HAFFNER
Another potential Aidan O’Brien trained runner who would also have the option of heading to the Breeders’ Cup instead. He has won 3 of his 6 career starts including when beating Burning Up by 1 ¼ lengths in the Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes over this 1 mile trip last time.
Futurity Trophy Trainers & Jockeys To Watch
Aidan O’Brien has won this race a record 12 times including last year with Hawk Mountain (2025).
Ryan Moore has won this race three times since 2017 on board Saxon Warrior (2017), Luxembourg (2021) and Auguste Rodin (2022).
Futurity Trophy 2026 Tips
NOBLE EXHIBIT (best priced at 6/4) bids to emulate Saxon Warrior (2017), Luxembourg (2021), Hotazhell (2024) and Hawk Mountain (2025) who all won the Beresford Stakes prior to winning this race a month later. The son of Frankel was beaten on his debut over 7f but has won both of his starts over this 1 mile trip at both Punchestown and the Curragh.
Making all last time in the Beresford Stakes under Wayne Lordan, he won with his ears pricked and the winning distance of 1 ¼ could underestimate his dominance. He looks the stable number 1 from Aidan O’Brien who has won this race a record 12 times previously.
Recommended Bet: Noble Exhibit 6/4 (1pt)
