Tread Carefully sets the standard with an official rating of 115 and is expected to be thereabouts, but it might be worth taking a chance on LORD DU GOUET. The point winner hit the frame on his Rules bow in a bumper at Chepstow and looks a likely improver now tackling hurdles, especially with Jamie Snowden's string in such excellent form. Cool Customer and Eastern Rock are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Lord Du Gouet 2nd Tread Carefully 3rd Cool Customer

Having found only a short-priced favourite too strong in a maiden hurdle at Market Rasen back in April, CHATTY GIRL looks nicely treated on her handicap/chase bow. Although fitness has to be taken on trust, the five-year-old looks the type to have strengthened up for a summer break and appeals as the one to beat. Known Warrior has filled the runner-up spot on two of his four chase starts and is feared most, ahead of Everyonesacritic.
Prediction : 1st Chatty Girl 2nd Known Warrior 3rd Everyonesacritic

Having ended her last campaign by completing a double at Chepstow, Inion Tiogair merits the utmost respect in her hat-trick bid. However, a 10lb hike from the assessor does demand more of Grace Harris' mare and she does appear to save her best for the Welsh venue. With that in mind, it may be worth chancing the unexposed DIAMOND WHITE, who has undergone a wind operation since her sixth-placed handicap debut effort at Worcester and improvement likely beckons. Border Gem is the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Diamond White 2nd Inion Tiogair 3rd Border Gem

Although defeated on his last three outings, GRAND CONQUEROR proved a model of consistency in handicap company last season. A 1lb rise in the ratings for his close-up third in a class 2 contest at Fakenham looks more than fair and he could take some stopping if returning at the same level. Just A Glance was last seen hitting the frame in a Listed event at Haydock and she isn't taken lightly, while Fouroneohfever is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Grand Conqueror 2nd Just A Glance 3rd Fouroneohfever

Carrigmoorna Rowan was far from disgraced when runner-up to a well-treated rival on his stable bow at Huntingdon and is open to improvement on his second start of the season. That said, the nine-year-old may have to play second fiddle once more if DARING PLAN copes with a quick turnaround. Not only does the Newton Abbot winner escape a penalty, Ciaran O'Shea can also claim his full 7lb allowance. Chase debutant Walkinthepresent and Pooroldmackley add further spice to the race.
Prediction : 1st Daring Plan 2nd Carrigmoorna Rowan 3rd Walkinthepresent

I LOVE YOU SIVOLA made light work of the opposition on his stable bow at Hereford and there should be more to come. Freddie Mitchell negates some of the 7lb penalty courtesy of his 3lb claim and Max Comley's charge should prove difficult to beat. Sailing By shaped better than the bare form suggests when seventh on his handicap bow at Chepstow 209 days ago and an improved performance wouldn't come as a surprise, while County Champs also looks to have a race in him.
Prediction : 1st I Love You Sivola 2nd Sailing By 3rd County Champs
