FAIRY PARK wasn't without her supporters ahead of an Aintree Grade 2 bumper in the spring and she emerged with plenty of credit when finishing in the places. That followed a really encouraging Rules bow at Newbury and the point-to-point winner is one to follow this season now she tackles hurdles. Expected to have been well schooled at home, she might have too much class for Vrheligonne and Fireball Frenzy.Prediction : 1st Fairy Park 2nd Vrheligonne 3rd Fireball Frenzy

Mourne Crystal easily won a point-to-point in the spring and now goes hurdling for top connections. The market may tell us more but slight preference is for QUICKKICK, who has improved with racing and looked a nice type at Newton Abbot in April when breaking through in a bumper. That experience will stand him in good stead and he's sure to have been well schooled. Sky Grove and Spanish Stroll are also interesting.Prediction : 1st Quickkick 2nd Mourne Crystal 3rd Spanish Stroll

COMMON SENSE ran out a wide-margin winner of an Irish point-to-point in April and makes plenty of appeal on his Rules bow for Rebecca Curtis, who enjoyed a winner at this track last week. Oatsoeasy came to grief in his sole point-to-point outing in March 2025, but has been given plenty of time to get over that mishap and now debuts under Rules for the powerful Ben Pauling yard. He's taken to go well, along with Trojan Tale and The Walk.Prediction : 1st Common Sense 2nd Oatsoeasy 3rd Trojan Tale

KILWAUGHTER shaped as though stepping up to 3m would suit when he kept on well to win gamely over an extended 2m4f at Newbury in February. Although he could only manage fourth when trying this distance for the first time at Haydock, it wasn't a bad effort and it came at the end of the season. Connections appear to have found him a good opening and, on the back of his summer break, he's worth another chance. Libre De Choeur won over C&D two starts ago and is another to note on his return, while Saint Palais can also get involved.Prediction : 1st Kilwaughter 2nd Libre De Choeur 3rd Saint Palais

Some interesting recruits from the pointing field here and POINTOFDIFFERENCE made it two from two in that sphere in Ireland in the spring. His victories came almost a year apart so the absence isn't a worry and he is Flat-bred so may have too much speed for Willow Tide, who cost 200,000 pounds shortly after tasting success between the flags back in January. Jet Bay strolled home by 14 lengths on his sole point-to-point appearance, while Poets Express and Ashford Breeze don't have that experience but still warrant consideration.Prediction : 1st Pointofdifference 2nd Willow Tide 3rd Jet Bay

Rebecca Curtis saddles a couple of nice prospects and Sean Bowen's presence on board INISHCORKER suggests he might be the one. Anything the point-to-point winner achieved over hurdles was always likely to be a bonus and his string of placings through last winter and into the spring will have given him a good foundation as he returns to embark on a chasing career. His stablemate Boultydoolin is also expected to come into his own now faced with a fence and he was strong enough to make all in a Chepstow maiden hurdle, with Island Bridge a solid third. Legendary Luke and Call Me Legend add further spice to what is likely to be an informative affair.Prediction : 1st Inishcorker 2nd Boultydoolin 3rd Legendary Luke

Rap Soul and The Grey Man both failed in hat-trick bids when last seen, although the former's Fontwell third was significantly better than the top-weight's Haydock non-completion. Crystello isn't bred for fences but still enters the equation, while Jack's Jury and Owl Of Athens have been rested since wins at Newton Abbot (over hurdles) and Huntingdon respectively. GUSTAPOF showed precious little over timber in his first campaign for Rebecca Curtis, but his rating has plummeted and he showed decent form over the larger obstacles in France so could be primed to capitalise.Prediction : 1st Gustapof 2nd Rap Soul 3rd Crystello

A trip to the Punchestown Festival didn't work out for ESCAPEANDEVADE, but he progressed pleasingly prior to it and is fancied to rediscover that forward momentum on his comeback. Jaipaletemps also paid his way last term and should have more to offer, although he will probably need it off his current mark. Excelero became costly to follow during his first chase campaign, but can't be written off yet. Doctors Hill tries fences for the first time and showed ability in the point-to-point arena so could step forward from his timber efforts.Prediction : 1st Escapeandevade 2nd Jaipaletemps 3rd Doctors Hill
