MIMIME was no surprise winner here last month following a few solid efforts in defeat and, now that she's got her head in front for top all-weather handler Mick Appleby, she could kick on and improve through the handicap ranks. Popular Dream is very much the fly in the ointment for Mimime backers as he looked to be on good terms with himself when striking over track and trip. One For Harvey is also noteworthy.Prediction : 1st Mimime 2nd Popular Dream 3rd One For Harvey

BLUE TULIP has held her form well since breaking through at Wolverhampton in July and proved there was still more improvement in her when winning over C&D earlier in the month. The booking of Jason Hart suggests connections are confident of another big run and she can get the better of returning course second Dollar's Dream, Fram Castle and Time Turner.Prediction : 1st Blue Tulip 2nd Dollars Dream 3rd Time Turner

EVERYONEKNOWSADAVE is no stranger to success around here and has performed better than his finishing positions suggest on the turf the last twice. A short-head second over C&D before that, Jessica Macey's charge should appreciate the return to Southwell and looks set to go well off top weight. Twilight Moon was a beaten joint-favourite at Lingfield but it wasn't a bad effort and she commands respect, as does Celestias Comet.Prediction : 1st Everyoneknowsadave 2nd Twilight Moon 3rd Celestias Comet

FILLY EILISH won over track and trip in July and gave notice her winning turn could be fast approaching when going down by a neck into second at Musselburgh 10 days ago. She could still be improving and may force Bofa Beach to settle for another supporting role, although a repeat of her Kempton second two starts ago would make things interesting. Keep an eye on Blue Celestial as well.Prediction : 1st Filly Eilish 2nd Bofa Beach 3rd Blue Celestial

Izzari bids for a third C&D success with the most recent of those being a career-best display. That said, more will be required off a 9lb higher mark and preference is for GUNFIGHTER. John Butler's gelding carries a 5lb penalty for scoring at Kempton eight days ago and may prove a tough nut to crack. Piazza and Decalogue can fight it out for the minor honours.Prediction : 1st Gunfighter 2nd Izzari 3rd Piazza

SILESIA outran her 125/1 odds when fifth in a Listed contest at York in August and it would be disappointing if Kevin Ryan's filly couldn't finally shed the maiden tag at the sixth time of asking. Mohaymenah wasn't at her best when fourth at Carlisle in July but she has been given time to recover and remains open to improvement. Newcomers Diamond Blue Point and Grateful Spirit appeal most of the remainder.Prediction : 1st Silesia 2nd Mohaymenah 3rd Diamond Blue Point
19:30 Southwell
POINTED shaped as though a drop in trip would bring about improvement when third at Redcar and Jack Channon's filly could take advantage of what looks to be a more than winnable contest on paper. Astronette caught the eye with a promising debut to finish fourth at Kempton and is likely to be in the mix along with Wolverhampton third Kodi Blue and newcomer Acclamique.Prediction : 1st Pointed 2nd Astronette 3rd Kodi Blue

Come On Over has enjoyed a good spell of late and there is every reason to expect another bold effort from David O'Meara's in-form gelding, while Hypnotised was placed in a couple of deeper races Newbury and Doncaster before a below-par effort over 5f here last month and stepping up a furlong might put him in a better light. However, the vote goes to KIRKDALE, who gave plenty of weight and a beating to Farandaway (second) over C&D three starts back and a repeat of that level may suffice. Prediction : 1st Kirkdale 2nd Hypnotised 3rd Come On Over
20:30 Southwell
KINIRO seemed to have a good bit in hand over Blue Orbit when they fought out the finish at Kempton 15 days ago and a 4lb rise might not be enough to prevent the Dan Horsford-trained gelding from notching back-to-back wins. French Affair is unexposed on the all-weather and is suggested as a bigger danger to the selection after a close-up third in similar company at the Sunbury venue last time. Moving Force and Arduis Invicta are a couple of others with each-way chances. Prediction : 1st Kiniro 2nd French Affair 3rd Moving Force
