Well treated by the conditions of this race, RIVER TRIEUX can gain a first career win. Sent off joint-favourite at Fairyhouse last time, the Paddy Twomey-trained filly didn't enjoy the clearest of passages before eventually finishing fifth. Although yet to race on the all-weather, there is nothing to suggest that the daughter of Havana Grey won't act around here and, if doing so, she looks the most likely winner. Recent C&D scorer Eleanor Shelby shouldn't be far away. Despite missing the break, the Joseph O'Brien-trained filly showed plenty of determination to get up close home for a narrow success. Near Perfection, who was only half a length back in third, also holds decent claims.
Prediction : 1st River Trieux 2nd Eleanor Shelby 3rd Near Perfection

A four-time winner at this track, MEHMAN can record a first success since January 2025. Despite reaching the frame on multiple occasions since, the son of Mehmas has dropped to an exploitable mark. Having shaped with plenty of promise when fifth here last time, the Pat Murphy-trained gelding can get his head back in front. Although the seven-year-old will require some luck in running given his hold-up style, Paddy Harnett looks the ideal pilot to adopt such tactics. Recent Curragh second Eichan San could provide the main threat. The Danny Murphy-trained four-year-old should enjoy coming off the likely fast pace. Rappell and Iff In Doubt can fight it out for minor honours.
Prediction : 1st Mehman 2nd Eichan San 3rd Rappell

Runner-up on his stable debut over 5f here, BLUE ANTHEM can go one better. A three-time winner when trained in Britain, the gelding dropped a good way in the handicap before finishing second in a Laytown claimer. Having given the impression that he had more to offer when shaping nicely here subsequently, the four-year-old can strike under Dylan Browne McMonagle. Just touched off here last time, Boston Max has to be a serious contender in first-time cheekpieces and has every chance of giving jockey Nina Doherty a breakthrough success. Sovereign Banter needs to improve, but returning to this venue could well help him do so.
Prediction : 1st Blue Anthem 2nd Boston Max 3rd Sovereign Banter

Successful on his last two starts, the Henry de Bromhead-trained PREMIER VIEW can complete the hat-trick. A lightly-raced son of Invincible Army, the gelding was well beaten on his debut over 7f but has looked a different horse since dropping to the minimum trip. Well drawn for one who likes to race prominently, if he gets away smartly under Adam Grant, it will take a fair performance to catch him. Lake Lugano is an interesting contender on his first try at sprinting. Making the running over further of late, he could well appreciate this lesser test of stamina. Katty is another who has been shaping with promise over further.
Prediction : 1st Premier View 2nd Lake Lugano 3rd Katty

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS can land this feature race for the visiting team. A consistent performer at this sort of level, the Kevin Ryan-trained gelding is a smart sprinter who hits the gates well and races prominently. From his low draw, the six-year-old should gain a good early pitch under Shane Gray. C&D winner Ipanema Queen could fare best of the remainder. Having scorched to victory at Cork in July, the filly was highly tried in Group 1 company last time. In receipt of so much weight, the only juvenile in the line-up This Moment has to be respected.
Prediction : 1st Washington Heights 2nd Ipanema Queen 3rd This Moment

Having shaped with plenty of promise when fifth on his introduction at Naas, ASTROWAY can strike at the second time of asking. Short of room early in the straight, the David Marnane-trained gelding really knuckled down and galloped to the line once in the clear. Provided that he handles this surface, the son of Sealiway boasts leading claims. The Captains Day also ran a race full of promise when finishing sixth in a strong maiden at Punchestown last time. While a wide draw isn't ideal, the Michael O'Callaghan-trained colt has the services of Dylan Browne McMonagle. American Cowboy shouldn't be far away if building on a hugely promising debut here.
Prediction : 1st Astroway 2nd The Captains Day 3rd American Cowboy

Johnny Murtagh, who has been finishing the season strongly, can land this finale with SAKOKU. Runner-up to a subsequent winner who is now rated 90 at Navan on her penultimate start, the filly gained valuable handicap experience at this track last time. A lightly-raced daughter of Sea The Stars, the Newtown Anner Stud owned three-year-old has further scope for improvement, and in what doesn't appear to be the strongest of maidens, she can get her head in front. Having shaped with promise on his recent stable debut, Shamrock Flame has to be respected for the Robson De Aguiar team, while Trustmore who was second over course and distance last time, has solid claims despite being drawn out wide.
Prediction : 1st Sakoku 2nd Shamrock Flame 3rd Trustmore
