JESSMARVEL makes his hurdling debut for the stable who are looking to win this for the fourth year in a row, and after his three length second in a Market Rasen bumper he clearly has ability. Gregor Walkingshaw claims 10lb off his back and that might give him the edge over stable companion Eazy Breezy, a point-to-point winner in Ireland who may be better over further. Cape Warrior has filled the runner-up spot on all three starts to date and completes the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Jessmarvel 2nd Eazy Breezy 3rd Cape Warrior

Just five runners could see this turn tactical but if REALISATION runs to his best he could make the journey up north worthwhile for the Charlie Longsdon team. One win from 11 starts over fences fails to inspire but he has placed on numerous occasions and looks the most reliable here for a yard in good form. Suspected has won over hurdles but there is no guarantee he will take to fences though if he does he is a danger to all, while Society Soldier is open to progression on just his fifth start under Rules.Prediction : 1st Realisation 2nd Society Soldier 3rd Suspected

Achille Des Rocs bounced back to form to finish second at Hexham and he could run into a place once again if the switch of headgear sees him improve. BALLYFORT has to give weight away to all of his rivals but he won this last year off a mark 2lb lower and was last seen finishing a three-length second at Ayr in a much better race. A repeat of that should see him home in front, with Garde Des Champs the suggestion for the minor placing.Prediction : 1st Ballyfort 2nd Achille Des Rocs 3rd Garde Des Champs

Lucinda Russell & Michael Scudamore's yard has won two of the last three renewals and there is every chance that TWO AULD PALS can add his name to the roster. Ground versatile, the consistent eight-year-old has a decent win and place strike-rate over hurdles and appeals having been nudged down 1lb since his last run. Ashdown Forest boasts convincing form figures but a 6lb rise for his Stratford win means another personal best is required. Scots Poet and Character Testing are others to consider. Prediction : 1st Two Auld Pals 2nd Ashdown Forest 3rd Scots Poet

2025 Ultima hero Myretown's jumping let him down on more than one occasion last season and he comes into this campaign with something to prove. In his favour, Patrick Wadge takes over in the saddle for the first time since their finest hour, but preference is for MUMFORD'S MAGIC. He produced his best performance to date with a comfortable success at Southwell and is taken to handle a 7lb rise. New Order is the pick of the other two.Prediction : 1st Mumfords Magic 2nd Myretown 3rd New Order

Newtown Rambler didn't seem to appreciate the return to hurdling when pulled up at Market Rasen, but his form over fences would give him obvious claims of bouncing back. Coup De Coeur went up 3lb for his Cartmel victory in May and enters calculations, but a chance is taken with fencing newcomer SMOKE TRAIL. Both his hurdle wins came at this track, including on this card 12 months ago, and the five-year-old has the credentials to make up into a better chaser.Prediction : 1st Smoke Trail 2nd Newtown Rambler 3rd Coup De Coeur

A tricky contest on paper and only a tentative vote can go to SUMMERGROUNDS. The 10-year-old has been running creditably during the summer months and the extra distance could yield some improvement. Maillot Blanc is only 2lb higher than when dead-heating here in May and is capable of a decent showing, while Bold Light and Evenwood Sonofagun are others to note.Prediction : 1st Summergrounds 2nd Maillot Blanc 3rd Bold Light
