NO LOOKING BACK may be worth a shot in an open affair. Oliver McKiernan's charge bounced back to form with a narrow defeat over hurdles at Fairyhouse recently and the Kingston Hill gelding looks on a workable mark for his chase debut. Caher Roes Den also makes his chasing bow having won nicely over timber at Galway on his penultimate outing. He commands plenty of respect, while Long Branch could build on his fourth over these fences back in May and he's another to note, along with Arcland.Prediction : 1st No Looking Back 2nd Caher Roes Den 3rd Long Branch

Jack Kennedy is an eye-catching booking for WATCH THE WEATHER. The Kayf Tara gelding has placed on his last four outings, and he reverts to the larger obstacles only 1lb higher than when third in a tougher chase at Kilbeggan last month. Luimneach returned the ready winner at Gowran last time and he's entitled to be a big player again despite a 9lb hike for that success, while Miss Doyenne will be sharper for her recent run and is preferred to Fountain House and The Great Nudie.Prediction : 1st Watch The Weather 2nd Luimneach 3rd Miss Doyenne

Just one of these has form in the book and Hansel The Purse may improve from his initial effort, when fourth at Punchestown 11 days ago. Saying that, there are some interesting newcomers and Gavin Cromwell's in-form yard may be able to bag this with TEN GEARS. The son of Ten Sovereigns will likely know his job and any strong support could prove significant. Noon Blu Dodville and The Two Degrees are others to note in the market. Prediction : 1st Ten Gears 2nd Noon Blu Dodville 3rd Hansel The Purse

SOUL ASYLUM wasn't beaten far in a strong bumper when sixth at Punchestown 178 days ago and may be able to make a winning start over hurdles. The Walk In The Park gelding had won at that same venue previously and, having been runner-up in a point-to-point, boasts jumping experience. Lirakali has an obvious chance, having been narrowly denied by stablemate The Captain's Word on his hurdling debut at Gowran at the start of the month. Farney Bridge, a solid third at Fairyhouse last time, could reach the frame again.Prediction : 1st Soul Asylum 2nd Lirakali 3rd Farney Bridge

CATHRYNS RUBY won here at a similar time last year and may be able to strike again on her seasonal debut. The Mahler mare was consistent last term and, having ran well to finish placed in a couple of competitive events at Fairyhouse in the winter, she looks capable of scoring again off this mark. River Vale was a winner over fences when last seen at Cork in April and his hurdles mark is now 7lb lower, so he commands respect. Jumbos Jet also visited the winners' enclosure on her last outing at Clonmel in May and is another to consider on her handicap debut.Prediction : 1st Cathryns Ruby 2nd River Vale 3rd Jumbos Jet

Emmet Mullins runs another smart Flat recruit for Amo Racing in SQUARE NECKER, who should prove hard to beat if transferring his ability to jumps. The Zarak gelding won three on the level, the most recent success coming at Ayr back in June on soft ground, and he boasts an official rating of 97. Huntin Boots shaped with promise when second on his debut in a Gowran bumper and wasn't disgraced at Punchestown when last seen. He looks the one likely to give the selection most to do. Paul Nolan runs five, including four newcomers, with Well Friend, a sister to Grade 2 hurdle winner Thedeviluno, one of the more intriguing debutants.Prediction : 1st Square Necker 2nd Huntin Boots 3rd Well Friend

A tricky looking contest and recent winner BAYMOUNT may prove the safest bet. She had a slow start to her career but progressed in bumpers and was an all the way winner back over hurdles at Tramore 17 days ago. Dunsy Rock won her maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse in February but has disappointed in two starts since, though returning from a break she may be capable of better. Louve D'irlande was thrown in at the deep end on her first start for Paul Nolan, finishing out the back in the Mares' Novice at Cheltenham, though she was a winner over hurdles in France and could play a bigger role in this company.Prediction : 1st Baymount 2nd Dunsy Rock 3rd Louve Dirlande

PAYSLIP can get her head in front now after the Workforce mare was runner-up in a couple of point-to-points and also had to settle for second on her rules debut for Gavin Cromwell at Downpatrick in July. The winner then, Its Time For A Run, was second over hurdles at Fairyhouse earlier this month and the form looks solid. Certavi Et Vici ran well at a massive price on her debut at Listowel and with some improvement she is entitled to play a big role now, while the Emmet Mullins-trained newcomer, Morning Rose, is related to some decent sorts in France and is one to note if the market speaks in her favour.Prediction : 1st Payslip 2nd Certavi Et Vici 3rd Morning Rose
