TIP 1: RHOSCOLYN - 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 15/2 at bet365 while publishing.
The David O’Meara trained RHOSCOLYN (best priced at 15/2) has proved disappointing on his previous two starts but as a result can drop into a Class 4 0-80 handicap for the first time in over five years. The eight-year-old finished runner-up at both Epsom and Haydock in August and September off marks of 84 and 82 so this rating of 80 can be exploited.
Rhoscolyn gets his soft ground in this contest and he looks overpriced with up to four places available.

TIP 2: SHOWTIME MAHOMES - 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 7/1 at SpreadEx while publishing.
This looks a competitive 0-65 handicap but preference goes to SHOWTIME MAHOMES (best priced at 7/1) who has had the form of his latest runner-up effort boosted by the winner. The Grant Tuer trained seven-year-old ran well to finish 2 nd here last time from a high draw behind Wodao with the pair pulling four lengths clear of the third.
Wodao followed up under a 5lb penalty by 3 ½ lengths on his next start and is favourite for the 3:49 at Leicester today and Showtime Mahomes gets to run in this race off only a 1lb higher mark. He won on soft ground at Carlisle in July so these conditions should suit and he should run well once again from a high draw.

TIP 3: STATE EXPRESS - 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 11/2 at bet365 while publishing,
The Sean Woods trained STATE EXPRESS (best priced at 11/2) proved a much different proposition on his handicap debut last time at Southwell and can follow up despite a 4lb rise from the handicapper. The three-year-old was given three quick runs in August over inadequate trips prior to making a winning handicap debut at Southwell last time when upped in trip to 1m6f off an opening mark of 60.
State Express stayed on strongly that day to win by ¾ lengths shaping as if this step up in trip to 2 miles should suit and he is expected to be the one to beat in the same grade.
