Bred to jump a fence and owned by J P McManus, it will be interesting to see where County Final sits in the market. On Your Way would come up short if this were over hurdles, but he showed improved form over fences when second at Clonmel in December and is one to keep an eye on, but KARL DES TOURELLES is preferred. The best of these over hurdles, he was a solid C&D second on his return to action this month and arrives with an experience and fitness advantage.
Prediction : 1st Karl Des Tourelles 2nd On Your Way 3rd County Final

Sharkeyboy went close on the Flat on a couple of occasions and has to be of interest on his hurdling debut representing Willie Mullins' yard. Fits Perfect is another to note taking on obstacles for the first time, but stablemate GREEN SOUL makes most appeal. Joseph O'Brien's charge finished a promising fourth at Cork on last month's hurdling bow and first start for over a year and that experience should stand him in good stead here.
Prediction : 1st Green Soul 2nd Sharkeyboy 3rd Fits Perfect

In a wide-open contest, it might pay to side with Henry de Bromhead's GIVE IT A CRACK, who hit the frame in both her point-to-points before finishing a six-length third at Listowel on her first start in 18 months, after unsurprisingly weakening late on. She seems sure to strip fitter now with a sensible month off to recover and that makes her the one to beat with her mares' allowance a bonus. Ellis Redding was sent off favourite for his Cork bumper before weakening late on and he should be much happier dropped back in trip for his hurdling debut, while If You Believe and Missouri Snow also make the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Give It A Crack 2nd Ellis Redding 3rd If You Believe

BOYCETOWN is an exciting novice prospect this season, and it would be disappointing if he couldn't make a winning start over hurdles. The Capri gelding was last seen finishing a creditable third in the Grade 1 bumper at Punchestown in April, having previously finished fourth in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. This Songisforyou sets only a moderate standard off his mark of 115, although he does arrive fit from the Flat and could be in the mix, while Thinkitdontjinxit has placed twice in bumpers and the point-to-point winner is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Boycetown 2nd This Songisforyou 3rd Thinkitdontjinxit

An open contest in which a chance can be taken on last year's winner SPORTINTHEPARK. Noel Meade's gelding was returning from a similar absence when victorious 12 months ago and is only 5lb higher this time around. He could have a bit more to offer in this discipline and gets the vote ahead of Mystic Malina, who was only narrowly denied at Kilbeggan when last seen in May. Open Secret has had a recent spin on the level and could fare better for that outing, whilst others to note include Teed Up and Balko D'ange.
Prediction : 1st Sportinthepark 2nd Mystic Malina 3rd Open Secret

GRACE FARADAY won here on her penultimate visit and ran well off a revised rating at the venue earlier this month. She seems to like Ballybrit, having recorded two of her three career wins here, and could be a leading contender again. Boola Times, another that scored on his penultimate outing, takes a big jump up in distance now and has to be considered, along with Moonshine Girl and Clash Gold
Prediction : 1st Grace Faraday 2nd Boola Times 3rd Moonshine Girl

MARBLE HILL can make a winning start for Gavin Cromwell. He chased home a decent sort in Gillane on his debut at Bellewstown back in April and the form has been boosted by that rival landing his maiden hurdle in impressive fashion at Gowran Park earlier this month. Todo Bien shaped with promise when third at Naas on debut before a disappointing effort at Down Royal in May and is another that has to come into calculations, while Ballyadam Star heads the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Marble Hill 2nd Todo Bien 3rd Ballyadam Star
