IMPERIAL BALLET shaped as if in need of the run when she was fifth of 11 on her belated seasonal debut at Southwell. However, the daughter of Blue Point can be expected to have been tuned up by the experience and a repeat of her Newbury success as a juvenile would suffice this time. Divine Symmetry's close second to an odds-on favourite at Newcastle reads well and is feared on face value, while Al Mandoos is bred to appreciate a synthetic surface and warrants close inspection. Prediction : 1st Imperial Ballet 2nd Divine Symmetry 3rd Al Mandoos

IDEALISE is a half-brother to a winning sprinter, while his dam has a classy pedigree that suggests the son of Frankel can be expected to win races as he gains experience. However, Andrew Balding appears to have found a winnable contest for his introduction and a chance is taken that he can strike first time out. King Gamrah is another appealing newcomer on paper to bear in mind, although Sequoiadendron also has something to offer on the same basis and she may be the pick of Richard Hannon's pair. Prediction : 1st Idealise 2nd King Gamrah 3rd Sequoiadendron

SHOWMASTER's debut third at Salisbury was promising enough for the Clive Cox-trained colt to get the vote in his bid to get off the mark now he has the benefit of experience. The rest with racing knowledge don't appear to be anything out of the ordinary. Therefore, the well-bred newcomers Easy Evening and Le Drakkar are forwarded as notable options to monitor closely in the betting. Prediction : 1st Showmaster 2nd Easy Evening 3rd Le Drakkar

ROGUE MESSIAH returned from a short break with a decent second over C&D. Clear of the rest on that occasion, James Owen's charge has plenty of scope for further improvement and is taken to resume winning ways raised only 2lb. Siwa Oasis arrives in fine fettle and remains of interest despite a 5lb rise for his recent victory here, while Blue Prince is regularly in the mix at this level and another solid effort is anticipated from him. Prediction : 1st Rogue Messiah 2nd Siwa Oasis 3rd Blue Prince

Liam Mera Kai was narrowly beaten at Southwell last time, but he's had plenty of chances now and preference goes to MALDIVES. The daughter of Camelot was having her first outing since well beaten at Royal Ascot in June, when finishing a close fourth in a handicap at Salisbury recently. She gave the impression this extra test of stamina will suit and is taken to open her account back in novice company. Flagbearer and Sailor Song are others to note.Prediction : 1st Maldives 2nd Liam Mera Kai 3rd Flagbearer

Beaten only a neck here in August, Fight Your Corner will be hard to keep out of the finish. Drifts Away has shown good progress this year and he could be in the mix after going close at Yarmouth last time, but a chance is taken on BREATHE EASY. Andrew Balding's charge scored over 7f here prior to landing a double with a victory at Southwell back in February, and there could be plenty more to come from him on his belated reappearance. Prediction : 1st Breathe Easy 2nd Fight Your Corner 3rd Drifts Away

BARON WAGSTAFF had shown precious little before coming within a neck of success at Wolverhampton. That effort came behind an in-form rival too so a 3lb rise looks fair, and Richard Phillips' charge may well be able to gain compensation on this occasion, not least because he is unexposed over middle-distances. Chepstow winner Heart Sign enters calculations, but Ataturk went close at Leicester and might be a bigger threat as he's open to a bit more progress. Uzincso can't be ruled out either.Prediction : 1st Baron Wagstaff 2nd Ataturk 3rd Heart Sign

It looks best to stick with the lightly-raced ROY LANE, who filled the runner-up spot over C&D on his stable debut for James Fanshawe. The son of Showcasing gets in off the same mark and can take advantage of a handy draw, possibly at the main expense of Everydaysasaturday, who produced an improved display to finish fourth at Brighton. Diamond Dreamer and Express Train are others to consider.Prediction : 1st Roy Lane 2nd Everydaysasaturday 3rd Diamond Dreamer
20:15 Kempton
Quite a few with chances, but the vote goes to Sean Woods' STATE EXPRESS. The colt left his novice/maiden form behind him to score over 1m6f at Southwell on handicap bow and a 4lb rise should be no barrier to further success given that he could have plenty to offer over this marathon trip. Noble Grace won over 1m4f at Ffos Las in July and showed her versatility with a win over 2m2f at Pontefract three weeks ago. She's a real player along with La Trinite, while Femme Fatale and Ada Rose enter calculations too.Prediction : 1st State Express 2nd Noble Grace 3rd La Trinite
