Sun Goddess, Notable Speech and Bacio are among the favourites attracting the most attention from Oddschecker punters following Monday's Breeders' Cup draw.
The 2026 Breeders' Cup takes place at Keeneland in Kentucky on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October, with 14 Grade 1 races across the two days. Monday evening's post-position draw has sharpened the focus on the leading contenders, and our latest betting data reveals which horses punters have been backing most heavily since the stalls were allocated.
Below are the five most popular Breeders' Cup selections on Oddschecker following the draw, together with their latest best odds. The betting percentages refer to each horse's share of bets in its individual race market since Monday evening.
1. Sun Goddess – Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (8/11)
Sun Goddess is the most popular Breeders' Cup selection on Oddschecker since the draw, attracting two-thirds of all bets on the Juvenile Fillies Turf market.
Aidan O'Brien's two-year-old filly has won six of her eight career starts and arrives in Kentucky on a five-race winning streak. Three of those victories have come at Group 1 level, in the Phoenix Stakes, Moyglare Stud Stakes and Cheveley Park Stakes. She was particularly impressive in the Moyglare at the Curragh, winning by six and a half lengths.
Ryan Moore takes the ride from stall nine as O'Brien seeks a third victory in this race, following Meditate in 2022 and Lake Victoria in 2024.
The 8/11 favourite has a significant new test to pass, however. She steps up to a mile and tackles two turns for the first time, while her draw could leave Moore needing to work for a position. Her form is formidable, but the Keeneland configuration adds an element of uncertainty at short odds.
Breeders' Cup MileSee All Odds
2. Notable Speech – Breeders' Cup Mile (1/1)
Defending champion Notable Speech has attracted 65% of all bets on the Breeders' Cup Mile since Monday evening, with even money the best available price.
The Charlie Appleby-trained five-year-old won this contest at Del Mar last November, producing a powerful late run under William Buick to beat Formidable Man by a length and a half. He has since added three more Group 1 victories in 2026: the Lockinge Stakes, City of York Stakes and Woodbine Mile.
That September win at Woodbine is especially relevant. Notable Speech followed the same Canadian preparation route before last year's Breeders' Cup triumph, and the Godolphin runner now bids to become the first horse since Wise Dan in 2012 and 2013 to win consecutive editions of the Mile.
Buick will break from stall eight, a workable middle draw in a 14-runner field. One note of caution is his previous visit to Keeneland, where he finished fourth in April's Maker's Mark Mile. He will need a clear passage for his customary finishing burst.
Breeders' Cup Turf SprintSee All Odds
3. Bacio – Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (11/8)
Bacio has dominated betting on the Turf Sprint, accounting for 70% of bets placed on the race through Oddschecker since Monday's draw.
Wesley Ward's three-year-old colt has won five of his six career starts and heads into Saturday's contest chasing a fifth consecutive victory. He made a major impression in Britain this summer, first winning the 27-runner Palace of Holyroodhouse Stakes at Royal Ascot by three and three-quarter lengths before making all to beat Starlust by a length and a quarter in York's Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes.
Juan Hernandez retains the ride on the 11/8 favourite, who has drawn stall three. That position should help him avoid covering unnecessary ground, but it also places him immediately outside defending champion and fellow front-runner Shisospicy in stall two. A fierce early pace is possible.
Bacio must also transfer his straight-course British sprinting form to Keeneland's turning five-and-a-half-furlong track. Ward knows what it takes to win this race, having landed it with Golden Pal in 2021, but the opening strides could be crucial.
Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf SprintSee All Odds
4. Libertango – Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (7/4)
Libertango is another heavily backed favourite, attracting 51% of all bets on the Juvenile Turf Sprint market since Monday evening.
George Boughey's two-year-old filly has finished first or second in all five career starts, winning three times. Her victories include the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Lowther Stakes at York, while her form ties in closely with Sun Goddess, the most popular selection on this list.
Libertango beat Sun Goddess by a length in a 25-runner Albany at Royal Ascot in June, although O'Brien's filly reversed the result in September's Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes, with Libertango finishing a length behind in second.
Connections were pleased with her draw in stall three, and leading American turf jockey Flavien Prat has been booked for the 7/4 favourite. The concern is that she has been slow away on several occasions and will encounter a bend for the first time. Over Keeneland's five-and-a-half-furlong trip, a clean break could be particularly important.
Breeders Cup Filly and Mare TurfSee All Odds
5. Blue Bolt – Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (9/4)
Blue Bolt completes the five most popular selections, having attracted 63% of all bets on the Filly & Mare Turf through Oddschecker since Monday's draw.
Andrew Balding's Juddmonte-owned filly is unbeaten in six starts this year, with four successive Group 1 victories in the Falmouth Stakes, Prix Rothschild, Matron Stakes and Sun Chariot Stakes. She has also finished ahead of fellow Breeders' Cup contender Precise three times this season, underlining the strength of her European form.
The 9/4 favourite has two major questions to answer at Keeneland. Colin Keane will have to negotiate a wide draw in stall 12, and Blue Bolt steps up to a mile and one-and-a-half furlongs for the first time, having never previously raced beyond a mile.
European-trained runners have won seven of the last ten editions of the Filly & Mare Turf, and Balding will hope Blue Bolt can extend that record while providing him with a first Breeders' Cup success. Her class is clear; the extra distance and potential for a wide trip make this a fascinating test.
