TIP 1: BOYLES HILL – 1-point Win
Best odds of 15/8 at bet365 while publishing.
BOYLES HILL has often been seen to best effect when conditions have been testing and following a more than satisfactory seasonal bow at Newton Abbot on good ground, Cath Williams’ inmate can record another course win now the weather his finally relented.
The seven-year-old went into his latest assignment off an eight-month break but that absence proved no barrier to him finishing a creditable fourth in a race that was noted for its useful speed figure.
Since that effort at the west country venue, the form has already been boosted by the fifth home, The Four Sixes, back at the same track yesterday and with a record at today’s venue that reads 2314, another positive result seems very likely.

TIP 2: RED METAL – 1-point Win
Best odds of 5/2 at William Hill while publishing.
RED METAL made quite a taking start to his career over hurdles with a silky success over today’s C&D three weeks ago and despite facing a couple of debutantes with plenty of upside, the son of Goliath Du Berlais can continue the excellent run of form for his stable.
Henrietta Knight’s chestnut was up against two novices who had already struck oil over hurdles but despite his lack of experience, he proved way too good for his opposition on the day, pulling right away in the closing stages to score with plenty on hand.
Posting a very useful speed figure in the process, the four-year-old has already proven he can jump and travel well at pace and with his valuable course experience likely to count for plenty, he is fancied to maintain his liking for today’s track (second in a bumper on soft ground).
