Sam Thomas is yet to get going this season, but November proved to be a successful month for him last season and his string of horses could well come into form over the course of the next four weeks.
With an over-bet favourite at the head of this market, there could be plenty of value further down the card. RANGE stands out as a horse who has performed well when running following a break, with good performances on many occasions when lining up on seasonal reappearance. He is still on a handy mark and has form from last season when winning at Sandown that suggests this opposition is far weaker than the levels he had run to previously.
We did not see Range following his pulled-up effort in February, which would be the only concern, but if he comes here in good fettle then he could easily make an impression on the race.
