TIP 1: THE ANTHONY GOVER - 1pt Win
Best odds of 13/8 at Sky Bet, Paddy Power and Spreadex while publishing.
The Dr Richard Newland trained THE ANTHONY GOVER has been running consistently well on the AW recently with form figures of 1132 and he can resume his progress with Billy Loughnane back on board. The three-year-old won twice over this course and distance off marks of 62 and 65 before being a length here on his previous two starts off marks of 65 and 67.
The Anthony Gover didn’t get the clearest of passages through on his penultimate start and hit the front too soon last time so his placed efforts can probably be upgraded. He is well drawn in Stall 4 and should prove hard to beat.

TIP 2: STARTLING - 1pt Win
Best odds of 3/1 at bet365 and William Hill while publishing.
Racing returns to Chelmsford which will suit STARTLING who has form figures of 121 in her completed starts at this track. The John Wainwright trained filly is a five-time winner on the AW in her career and although she will face competition for the lead, she is well drawn in Stall 3.
Startling won at Southwell in September off a mark of 60 and Redcar a fortnight later off a mark of 65 before disappointing on softer ground on her previous two starts at Musselburgh and Pontefract. She has dropped back down to a mark of 69 and should run well with David Probert taking over on board for the first time.
