Gordon Elliott-trained horse was an impressive winner on his debut over hurdles
Gordon Elliott’s day started in perfect fashion ahead of Death Duty’s debut over fences as his stablemate Roaring Bull entered Cheltenham Festival calculations with a taking win over hurdles.
The four-year-old travelled smoothly throughout, sitting just behind the leader before hitting the front turning from home. Davy Russell was almost motionless in the saddle as he went through the gears to record a 7 ½ length victory with the minimum of fuss.
Both William Hill and BetVictor were quick to react to the performance with the former the more impressed installing the Gigginstown horse into the Supreme market at 33/1 with BetVictor going 40’s.
Impressive round of jumping that from Roaring Bull, beat nothing but did that very very nice, Supreme?
