Paul Nicholls' eyes are firmly set on the Champion Chase for his Tingle Creek winner.
Politologue held off the efforts of 8/13 favourite Fox Norton to give Paul Nicholls his 10th Tingle Creek Chase winner in the last 19 years. The six-year-old jumped majestically throughout once in front attacked the hill to win by half a length althout he never really looked like losing.
The win has seen Politologue cut from 14/1 to as short as 5/1 with a couple of firms, leapfrogging rival Fox Norton in the market and sitting just behind the top three of Altior, Douvan and Min. 55% of all bets on the QMCC market since the race have been on the Nicholls horse, whilst 23% saw enough from the Tingle Creek second and are keeping faith.
"There's one target and that's the Champion Chase." - @PFNicholls praises Politologue's performance in the #TingleCreek @Sandownpark and talks future plans.
