Kim Bailey's unbeaten five-year old may now be a serious Ballymore contender after Huntingdon victory
With punters seeking to find each-way value five weeks before Cheltenham, an unbeaten five-year old may just come into view for some after a solid win at Huntingdon.
Vinndication notched up his fourth win from four by landing the Sidney Banks Memorial Novices’ Hurdle, winning by over three lengths from Western Ryder and justifying his favouritism in the process. The performance caused bookies to slash his odds for success in March, with a run in the Ballymore Novices Hurdle a real possibility.

Available at 50/1 this morning, this price was almost universally slashed, going to 14s in places. However one bookie has kept the original price, but you can expect it to disappear very soon.
With smatterings of 20s and 25s, there are still some big prices around for the five-year-old, who has been trained by Kim Bailey, but with the horse now on the wider radar, this may not be the case for long.
Elsewhere, Samcro remains the favourite for the race at a best price of evens, after winning well over at Punchestown last weekend. On The Blind Side comes next at 6/1, while Next Destination rounds off the top three at 8s.
Oddschecker Spokesman George Elek: “There’s a stacked potential line-up for the Ballymore and one name that has been thrown about today is that of Vinndication, who caught the eye by extending his unbeaten run at Huntingdon. With many bookies halving his price or more, there could be more than a few punters rushing to back Kim Bailey’s five-year-old each-way.”
