Alan King will now turn his attention to Cheltenham for his unbeaten four-year-old.
Six horses have won both the Adonis Juvenile Hurdle and the Triumph Hurdle since 1988 and that might just be seven come mid-March.
Redicean went off the 10/11 favourite at Kempton at showed why, beating closest rival Malaya by seven lengths comfortably.
Unbeaten since joining Alan King’s yard, the four-year-old’s next stop will likely be Prestbury Park and bookies are taking the horse seriously.
Available at 10/1 for the Triumph Hurdle pre-race, some firms have now gone as short as 9/2 making Redicean the second favourite behind Nicky Henderson’s Apple’s Shakira (3/1).
The Fred Winter is the less likely option however one firm is taking no chances, dropping the horse to 8/1 whilst 20/1 is still on offer at time of writing.
Oddschecker spokesman “Since joining Alan King’s yard Redicean has been unstoppable so it’s only natural bookmakers aren’t taking any chances in the ante post markets.
Should the four year old run in the Triumph Hurdle, stiff competition awaits in Nicky Henderson’s Apples Shakira.”
Very impressive. Redicean highlights his Triumph Hurdle claims with a smart victory under @waynehutch over Malaya in the Betdaq Adonis Juvenile Hurdle.
