News of Fox Norton's injury has rendered 6% of Ryanair bets void.
Colin Tizzard has confirmed that Fox Norton is set to miss the Cheltenham Festival, leading to dismay for Ryanair punters.
The 11/2 shot accounted for 6% of all bets on the Ryanair Chase, with punters left with a dilemma of who to back instead of the eight-year-old.
Following the news, red-hot favourite Un De Sceaux is now as short as 2/1 for the feature race.
Assistant trainer Joe Tizzard confirmed the news: "Unfortunately Fox Norton will miss the Cheltenham Festival and the rest of the season due to a slight suspensory injury."
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “ It is no surprise that Un De Sceaux is proving popular after this news.
“He is a Cheltenham specialist who will hope to give the famous Mullins/Walsh duo one of many winners during the week.”
