The 2016 Mares Hurdle winner will no longer run at Cheltenham or beyond.
Rich Ricci owned Vroum Vroum Mag has been taken out of the race she won in 2016, prompting an interesting move in the Mares Hurdle.
Odds have been slashed on stablemate Benie Des Dieux to win the race from 5/1 as of this morning, into just 7/2.
The news follows the decision to pull the 2016 Mares’ Hurdle winner has been pulled from the Tuesday race.
Not among those remaining entered for the Mares’ Hurdle, the nine-year-old will reportedly now start a career as a broodmare.
In a statement, Willie Mullins said: “Vroum Vroum Mag hadn't been working well.
“She worked poorly on Tuesday and we've taken the decision to retire her.”
