Frost is attracting punting attention to win on Black Corton.
Having already taken the National Hunt scene by storm in her debut season as a professional, Bryony Frost is being backed to lead the female charge on Ladies Day.
She’s on RSA Chase hopeful Black Corton who goes off at 2.10pm, and is hoping to emulate winning female jockey Lizzie Kelly who got off to a flyer yesterday.
Black Corton is fourth favourite to bolt up at 8/1, and as the only woman competing in the race, is looking to rubberstamp a victory on Ladies Day.
She’s the most popular bet for the race, attracting 19% of all bets.
Looking for her eighth win and second at Grade One level, Frost has helped spearhead a female racing renaissance.
At just 22-year-old, she’s among the youngest jockeys in the day two race, but says she doesn’t feel like a novice.
Frost said: "I don't feel the pressure or anything for myself, but I feel it for him (Black Corton) as I am just desperate to achieve success for him and make him even more of a superstar than he is."
"They will go harder and faster at Cheltenham, but he has won round there. His confidence within himself is high and I will ride him with confidence to give him every chance.”
Oddschecker Spokesman George Elek: "Bryony Frost has had a stellar season so far and there is every chance she can cap it off with a victory onboard Black Corton. There's a lot to like about the horse and the jockey, we'll soon find out if Frost can add the RSA to her already impressive resume."
