
Bookies benefit from an impressive Tiger Roll win in the County Chase.
Tiger Roll roared to a third festival win, securing his place in the hearts of many Cheltenham punters up and down the country. Gordon Elliott’s horse was prominent throughout the race and ended up winning by two lengths, bringing joy to traders in the tipping league.
Betfair had eight points (five ante-post) on Tiger Roll, Betfred had three points each-way on the Elliott horse. Black Type had one point on the Cross Country winner whilst William Hill and Paddy Power had two points and eight points on Tiger Roll (five ante-post) respectively.
Yesterday’s leader BetVictor remain top of the table but came out with a small loss today even though they put five points on Altior.
Coral gained a few points thanks to a couple of shrewd each-way punts on The Last Samuri and Acey Milan in the last. Betway came out of the day with a loss even with Turning Gold grabbing a place for them.
Black Op finished second in the Ballymore, gifting Sky Bet a handy return as they opted to look at the without Samcro market.
BetVictor remain top of the table, but the gap has been closed thanks to Keith Donoghue landing the Cross Country Chase, sending Betfair, Betfred and Paddy Power up the ladder.
