We've picked out three horses which have been well supported from today's Cheltenham card.
There has been some strong support for Edward Harty’s nine-year-old to prevail in the 14:10 Handicap Hurdle. Having been 14/1 at the start of the Festival, SORT IT OUT was as short as 9/1 this morning but has now been backed into 8/1 with Bet365.
SORT IT OUT is capable on soft/heavy ground and did finish second in the County Hurdle three years ago and got back to form placing at Punchestown last month and punters believe he can land the spoils here today.
David Pipe’s KINGS SOCKS has been backed in to be the clear favourite in the 16:10 when he links up with Tom Scudamore. Having opened at 8/1, the six-year-old is now best priced at 6/1. The yard has won this race three times in the last eight years and KING SOCKS produced an eye catching performance when third at Kempton to Modus last month.
Having been 20/1 at the start of the Festival, MISSED APPROACH has been backed in from 11/1 into 9/1 this morning to take the last race of the day. Having come second in last year’s NH Chase and has since had a wind-op, punters believe he is prepped and ready to go one better this year. The eight-year-old will relish the testing conditions and the ground will prove very difficult for other horses by the time this race comes round.
