Harry Fry will hope his stayer can make it third time lucky in March.
Unowhatimeanharry has been slashed from 33/1 to as short as 14/1 for the Stayers Hurdle after triumphing at Newbury.
There has been a flurry of bets since the race, with 41.4% of bets on the ante-post market going on the 10-year-old.
This is the second time Harry Fry has won the Long Distance Hurdle with his gelding after winning the race back in 2016. That season he went off 5/6 favourite for the Stayers’ but could only manage third place behind the late Nichols Canyon.
2018 winner Penhill remains the bookies favourite for the race at this early stage, priced up at odds ranging from 5/1 to 7/1.
Oddschecker spokesman, George Elek: ‘Unowhatimeanharry won in his first four Cheltenham races, including two Albert Barlett triumphs at the Festival, but the Stayers’ Hurdle has proved elusive.
‘Harry Fry’s gelding has had two cracks at the Grade 1 three miler - going off odds-on favourite in 2016 - but has disappointed on each occasion.'
'Although there is money coming in, I’d be very wary about getting involved at this stage.’
