The Irish yards are expected to dominate the Festival once again this year.
Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott are neck and neck at the top of the market to be crowned Top Trainer at Cheltenham Festival.
Both of the Irish based trainers are priced at 13/8, implying they both have a 38.1% chance of claiming the accolade.
Elliott won top trainer in 2018 with eight winners to Mullins’ seven. His winners included Samcro, Tiger Roll, Veneer Of Charm, Shattered Love, Delta Work, The Storyteller, Farclas and Blow By Blow. Of these, only Tiger Roll is favourite to win again at the festival.
However, looking at the thirteen horses that are current ante-post favourites, seven of these are actually trained by Nicky Henderson.
The five-time Champion trainer has been cut from 5/2 to 2/1 to upset the apple cart in the last 24 hours.
Oddschecker spokesperson, George Elek: "Racing fans are lucky to have a plethora of top trainers in National Hunt racing at the moment, but few can compete with Mullins and Elliot in both quality and quantity ahead of the festival.
"Mullins, however, may not have the star novices that he has boasted in recent years, although many know that to rule him out can really hurt the pocket."
