A West-Sussex based horse is proving most popular in the Emerald Isle.
Knocknanuss has been the most clicked Cheltenham horse by Irish punters so far in 2019.
The nine-year-old has received 10% of all betslip clicks on the ante-post festival markets and is currently sat near the top of the market for the Arkle at 20/1. That’s over twice as many as the next most clicked, Ok Corrall, with 4.4%.
Gary Moore’s gelding was in outstanding form in the Autumn, winning at Fakenham and Newbury by a combined 38 lengths before finishing a decent second at Plumpton to the impressive Master Dino at the turn of the year.
Oddschecker spokesperson, George Elek: “Despite being trained by Sussex based Moore, Knocknanuss has clearly captured the imagination of the Emerald Isle.
“They could well get a good look at him too, as he is entered for the Frank Ward Solicitors Arkle Novice Chase at Leopardstown on Feb 2nd, for which he is currently 6/1.”
