The promising five-year-old has been smashed in from 50/1 in places.
Paul Nicholls' inmate Malaya has had her odds slashed from a massive 50/1 into 10/1 to win the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
With a massive 76% of bets on the market since winning the Imperial Cup Handicap Hurdle at Sandown, Malaya is getting a huge amount of punting attention ahead of next Friday's race.
Romping home with a late charge, Malaya battled back to beat Monsieur Lecoq by just over a length.
The latter has been clipped in from 14/1 to 12/1 favouritism in the County Hurdle market having rallied well before being overtaken by the eventual winner.
Paul Nicholls' scintillating form continues and the Somerset-based trainer has a yard in excellent shape heading into the festival next week. He’s been cut to as short as 8/1 to finish up as the top trainer.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: "Paul Nicholls was a 33/1 shot with some bookies to be Cheltenham top trainer just a few days ago.
"That price has long gone now with the trainer hitting unbelievable form at just the right time. Today it was Malaya that emerged as another hot prospect for the coming week."
