Sunday's declarations have led to three horses being neck-and-neck in the betting.
Long-time Supreme Novices Hurdle favourite Al Dancer has been ousted as Supreme favourite this Sunday, with ANGELS BREATH (best price 5/1) now at the top of the market with several bookies.
The 18-strong field has been declared for the opening race at the festival, and most bookies have just a point now between Angels Breath, Al Dancer (best price 5/1) and Klassical Dream (best price 6/1).
The switch away from the Ballymore for the latter has led to a surge of bets on Willie Mullins’ five-year-old, who was available at 12/1 early this morning.
He’s been the most popular horse out of every Cheltenham market since the morning’s declarations too, making up 9% of total bets.
Elsewhere, Fakir D’Oudairies has also been declared for Tuesday’s opener, despite being second favourite for the Triumph Hurdle 24 hours earlier. He is 13/2 best price, with Elixir De Nutz (best price 8/1) and Grand Sancy (best price 12/1) just behind.
Oddschecker spokesman George Elek: “It looks to be a wide open Supreme and Sunday’s declarations has seen Klassical Dream the big mover. His 6/1 best price could drop further and Ruby Walsh may very well be sitting on the favourite come 1:30pm on Tuesday.
