Black Op has been cut as short as 10/1 from 25/1 for the JLT Novices Chase following a smart victory at Stratford on his seasonal reappearance.
It was his first crack at the larger obstacles since an underwhelming performance on New Years Day at Cheltenham, where he reverted to hurdles thereafter and has since has a wind op.
One bookmaker has also cut Tom George’s horse as short as 14/1 for the 3 mile RSA Chase, whilst he is still available at 25/1 elsewhere.
Lisnagar Oscar failed to live up to his favourite tag on the day, beaten at 4/5 and weakening a far distance out.
Rebecca Curtis’ gelding is still looking for his first win over fences after the trainer decided to go chasing with her six-year-old this term.
