Willie Mullins’ filly has shot to the top of the Champion Bumper market.
As big as 50/1 before today, she is now as short as 8/1 for the Champion Bumper, after announcing herself to the world at Market Rasen this afternoon with an imperious display in the Mares Listed Bumper.
It is worth shopping around though, with a few bookmakers still offering 14/1 on Willie Mullins’ four-year-old filly for the final race on the Wednesday at Cheltenham.
Making her racecourse debut, she was a class apart and made some previous winners behind her look quite ordinary.
She flew home under Paul Townend and it was impossible not to be taken with the performance.
Willie Mullins was having his first ever runner at Market Rasen, a sign he didn’t make the long journey for nothing.
Panic Attack went off of the 5/2 favourite and duly obliged. Where she goes next remains to be seen, but a tilt at the Champion Bumper may beckon, and on today’s evidence she could be quite the talent.
