The RSA Chase is a Grade 1 National Hunt chase at the Cheltenham Festival, run over 3m 80y, in which 20 fences are jumped.
Previous winners of the RSA Chase include: Topofthegame, in 2019, who did the business for trainer Paul Nicholls, overcoming the well-backed Santini and Delta Work.
The seven-year-old went off at 4/1, piloted by Harry Cobden.
The betting favourites have generally prospered in the RSA Chase in recent years. In 2018, 5/2 favourite Presenting Percy won the RSA Chase, while Might Bite, going off at 7/2, triumphed in 2017.
Over the last decade, the biggest-price winner of the RSA Chase was Bostons Angels, who sent off at a massive 16/1, winning the race by a neck for Jessica Harrington.
The favourite for the 2020 RSA Chase is Nicky Henderson’s Champ (7/2).
