The Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle is a Grade 1 National Hunt hurdle race on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival, run over 2m 7f and 213y and open to horses aged four years or older.
Previous winners of the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle include: Minella Indo in 2019, who was priced at a whopping 50/1 prior to the race, before doing the business for Henry de Bromhead.
Minella Indo is also the biggest-price winner of the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle over the last decade.
The outsiders have enjoyed the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle since 2010, with three 33/1 shots winning: Berties Dream in 2010, Very Wood in 2014 and Kilbricken Storm in 2018.
Only two favourites have won the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle in the last 10 years: At Fishers Cross in 2013 (11/8) and Bobs Worth in 2011 (15/8).
