Oddschecker reveals the three most backed horses on the second day of the Cheltenham Festival
Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle – Envoi Allen
Envoi Allen was always going to be very popular today and he has been smashed up in the betting, now a best price of 8/1. He is unbeaten in seven starts under rules and has beaten some seriously good horses. He won the Champion Bumper here last year and punters believe he is the ‘Irish banker’. It is hard to look past him in the first race.
RSA Chase – Minella Indo
In the second race of the day, the 2019 Albert Bartlett winner has proven very popular with punters and has been backed into favourite He is now as short as 5/2. He is four from five over three miles and looks tailor made for this contest. He has had the beating of his main market rival, Allaho, and punters think that the form will be upheld this afternoon.
Coral Cup – Dame De Compagnie
Nicky Henderson had a great opening day yesterday and punters are backing him for more success today. His seven-year-old mare, Dame De Compagnie, won very well here in December, with the second that day going to boost the form. She has been very well supported and is now the clear favourite for the race at 9/2. Barry Geraghty takes the ride and will be sure to get a fine tune out of her.
