Stayers' Hurdle See All Odds

After a mightily impressive victory in the Persian War Novices’ Hurdle, punters have been quick to back Mcfabulous’ for the Stayers’ Hurdle at the 2021 Cheltenham Festival.

Having been 20/1 before the race, Paul Nicholl’s exciting six-year-old is as short as 12/1 for the Stayers’ Hurdle following his easy victory.

Two firms are still offering a best price of 18/1 on him.

Sent off the strongly supported odds-on favourite, the gelding travelled very well throughout the contest before easing past his rivals.

Mcfabulous stormed clear after two out, and impressively quickened before the final hurdle.

The six-year-old won at a canter and has left fans purring at what he could produce this season.

It was a performance of the very highest quality horse and plenty are now expecting big things after such a taking reappearance.

Could he mix it with the very best? There is no reason why not if today is anything to go by.

Mcfabulous adds another dimension to what already promises to be an intriguing Stayers’ Hurdle.

Paisley Park is the 7/1 favourite at the moment, with Benie Des Dieux just behind the fan favourite at 8/1.

We still have a long way to go until March, but judging today’s performance, Mcfabulous could have a big say in proceedings should he go to post at Prestbury Park in six months’ time.
