Stayers Hurdle - Winner

Champ, put in an impressive display to win the Long Walk Hurdle, against a strong field including Thyme Hill, Paisley Park, Ronald Pump and Thomas Darby.

The nine-year-old started the race as the third favourite at Ascot with 4/1 best odds but held his nerve as Thyme Hill tried to chase him down.

The Cheltenham Festival ante-post markets have cut Jonjo O'Neill horse as the joint-favourite with Klassical Dream (best price 9/2) to win the Stayers' Hurdle at a best price of 9/2.

Having been behind his competitor today Thyme Hill in the Stayers' Hurdle market, Champ has jumped into joint-favourite and will be hoping to take it home like he did at Ascot.
