The most backed horse for the 2025 Cheltenham Festival this week is dividing the oddschecker community.
Now that some of the biggest race days of the season at Cheltenham outside of March's Festival have been and gone, let's check in on the latest ante-post betting activity.
The horse who has taken the most bets through oddschecker in the last seven days is proving a decisive figure in the oddschecker community.
1. Constitution Hill
The former Supreme Novices' Hurdle and Champion Hurdle winner was a huge ante-post favourite for next year's Champion Hurdle before a public gallop on Tuesday morning.
CONSTITUTION HILL appeared to struggle to keep pace with stablemate Sir Gino at what many described as a mild pace, sparking speculation on X (formerly Twitter) that the seven-year-old could be retired from racing.
However, trainer Nicky Henderson has since insisted the unbeaten hurdler is "ready for action" and remains on course for a return in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle next Saturday.
The most backed horse through oddschecker in terms of volume of bets, he has also taken a 61% share of the Champion Hurdle bets in the last seven days.
At one point yesterday, he was out to 4/1 but he has since bounced back to a best 11/4 on bet365, albeit still longer than a best 6/4 on Monday.
2. East India Dock
One of the most impressive performers of the November Meeting, according to Andy Holding, was James Owen's EAST INDIA DOCK.
Writing exclusively for Oddschecker Unlimited, he said: "His winning speed figure strongly suggests he is one of the best three-year-olds we have witnessed in recent years and even though it is a relatively early stage of the season, there's a strong possibility his display won't be matched by anything either side of the Irish Sea."
You can read the article in full here, explaining in more detail why he has become such a leading player in the 2025 Triumph Hurdle market.
He has shortened from 33/1 with some bookmakers into 7/1 (best price 8/1 on William Hill), taking the second most bets and 64% of the Triumph bets through oddschecker.
3. Sir Gino
Constitution Hill's supposed demise has also been interpreted as something of a boost for stablemate SIR GINO, who was part of Constitution Hill's public return in the much debated gallop at Newbury on Tuesday.
Sir Gino was as long as 8/1 with some bookmakers for the 2025 Arkle Chase this time last week but is now a best 5/1 on BetMGM (shortest 4/1 on Sky Bet).
He is also into 8/1 (shortest 6/1) for the Fighting Fifth Hurdle having been 20/1 on Paddy Power and Betfair yesterday.
The third most backed horse for next year's Festival in the last seven days, Sir Gino has taken 35% of the bets on the Arkle.
4. L'Eau Du Sud
The winner of the Arkle Challenge Trophy Trial Novices' Chase at the November Meeting has, somewhat inevitably, caught the eye of Arkle 2025 punters.
L'EAU DU SUD, backed by both Racing Lee and Road to Cheltenham going into the weekend, was an 11-length winner from Western Zephyr on Saturday.
Road to Cheltenham's prediction that he would be considerably shorter for the Arkle after the race has come true; the six-year-old could be backed for as big as 40/1 on Saturday but is now a best price 11/1 on bet365 (shortest 8/1).
L'Eau Du Sud has taken 24% of the Arkle bets in the last seven days.

5. Potters Charm
Another horse to emerge as a huge candidate for the 2025 Cheltenham Festival winners' enclose over the weekend was POTTERS CHARM.
Scooting up the hill, the five-year-old pulled clear from Valgrand, producing a winning speed figure to match the one he produced a month earlier at the Showcase Meeting.
He is now a 20/1 chance for the Albert Bartlett (shortest 16/1) but has taken more bets for the Turners Novices' Chase - formerly the Gallagher Novices' Hurdle.
39% of the bets for the Turners have gone his way, which have seen him shorten from as long as 33/1 to 14/1 (best price 18/1 on bet365).
